The BIG Deal!

As I was putting on the finishing touches to this blog, I received my Oprah Magazine in the mail.  The cover was full of bargains and deals. I couldn’t help but think that we are on the cutting edge of “cool” by looking for deals – JUST LIKE OPRAH!  I have rounded up some great deals for you this week. 

Meal Deals:

Do you like a deal that is not just fast food for the kids? Check out Saucy Restaurant in LoDo on 22nd & Market, kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal open to close every Tuesday. If you use the secret code “Saucy Mommy” all moms will receive a FREE Signature Saucy Sweet Tea or a local Daz Bog coffee with their meal.

At Johnny Carino’s, family platters are 1/2 price on Monday nights! Family platters include 16-layer lasagna, chicken parmigiana, chicken bowtie festival, shrimp or chicken skilletini and more yummy Italian dishes.  The 1/2 price deal is for dine in only. They have locations in Lakewood, Longmont, Parker, and Westminster.

Summer feels good with Jamba Juice “Summer Feel Good Specials” including  Foodie Friday with $1 pastry or $3 flat bread with the purchase of any menu drink.

Entertainment:

Central City Opera is offering $5 tickets for the Student Summer performances on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24 at 8:15 p.m.  The theme is “Through the Eyes of a Child,” at Williams Stables located across from the Opera House on 113 Eureka St. in Central City. 

KidSpree at Aurora’s Bicentennial Park is this weekend  (July 17 & 18) with hands-on activities like decorating a real car will keep kids busy! Parents will enjoy live music, entertainment, and food. Families will also love the petting zoo, the inflatable jumpers, and more!

Plus, when you’re looking for more events this weekend check out the Arts and Wonder Events sponsored by Target website.   The program includes the Children’s Museum, Denver Art Museum and a special Colorado Symphony Orchestra concert on July 18.
