Contests / Mama's Product Picks

Enter to Win Mile High Mamas’ Wii and Wii Fit Giveaway!

[photopress:WiiFit.jpg,full,pp_image]Our Wii and Wii Fit contest is over and we are thrilled to announce Lucretia Pruitt is our winner. Thank you to all who entered!

I’ll admit it: I have never liked video games. So, when Nintendo contacted me about becoming a Wii Fit “Brand Enthusiast,” I chuckled. Me? Pimp a gaming system?

But then I threw a Wii Fit party. For the first time in my life, I hoola hooped, ski jumped and did yoga without killing myself. And I very quickly figured out what the hype is all about.

I have not missed a day since I received my Wii Fit. I can’t. My personal trainer who tracks my progress would kick my virtual butt. You see, the Wii Fit functions like a scale tracking balance, weight, BMI and lets you know how well (or not well) you’re doing. I think the word it uses is “unbalanced.”

But I could have told you that.

I am thrilled to announce we will be giving away a Wii and a Wii Fit to one lucky winner!

[photopress:Horton_DVD_Set_3D_1_.JPG,thumb,pp_image]In case you’re not the grand prize winner, we also have copies of two of the hottest DVDs of the holiday season: Horton Hears a Who and Fly Me to the Moon. I’ll probably throw in even a few more prizes because I’m nice like that.

Now, the Wii Fit contest rules:

1. To enter, comment on this post about why you would like a Wii Fit in a few sentences or less. If you include a link on your blog about this contest or include it on your facebook, twitter or other networking site, you may enter as many as five times. Please include the link. If your comment does not immediately show up, don’t worry. We will retrieve it out of the spam folder for you.

2. You must fill out your full name and email address in the comment section (your email will not be published and will not be used for any purpose other than this contest).

3. Contest will end at noon, Mountain Time, December 20, 2008.

4. United States residents only. (Yes, is breaks my heart to exclude my fellow Canucks.)

5. Fulfillment will be handled by Nintendo, so you must be willing to provide your real name, phone number and mailing address if selected as the winner.

6. Nintendo expects to ship the prize two weeks after notification of the winner’s details.

Good luck!

  1. I just had a baby 3 months ago and really need to lose those extra baby pounds! I would love to win a Wii Fit so that I could get into shape at home and still be able to watch my baby. This would be the answer to all the excuses I have for not being able to exercise. I would love to be the lucky winner!! Thanks 🙂

  2. I would like a wii fit because they are so very cool. I recently was exposed to the whole video game world. We have 5 children in our house and have managed to stay away from video games until now. We were trying to decide between Nintendo and XBox and something else my husband said but I can’t remember! Until I returned from a wii party, he was in charge of this purchase. Luckly he hadn’t purchased anything because I am soooo totally hooked on this wii thing! The wii fit is so fun. My favorite part is that all the kids (ages 2 1/2 to 15) can play together on some level – a real family adventure! I would love to be the winner!!!
    Thank you!

  3. I would love to win this Wii and Wii Fit…Not for myself as we have a Wii already but for muy daughters teacher who desperately wants one and can’t justify shelling out the money! If I won i would definitely give it to her and she would be thrilled. Thank you for the chance!

  4. I would love the chance to win the Wii and Wii Fit! Now that the weather is colder (and it’s snowing as I’m typing this), being motivated to exercise outside (or anywhere at all in weather like this) takes more and more energy. From what I’ve seen, the Wii Fit makes it easy AND fun to exercise, and those are the two ingredients I need to make reaching my fitness goals even more of a reality.

Plus, this will give me an easy opportunity to exercise with my daughter, and I think that building that habit now will greatly impact *her* fitness level for the future.

  5. I am past 40 yrs old and need some motivation to get back to down to my high school weight of 110 lbs. I am very interested in the Wii system and what it can do?

  6. I need a Wii Fit for my ever-expanding hips. That’s what happens when you’re over 40 and work in front of a computer all day…

  7. Ode to a wii fit:

What a beauteous site to behold a wii-fit for our excercise room. We might never buy thee because the stores can’t keep thee in stock. Thou wilt keep us in good health all the rest of our lives and never tell the secrets of how old we are to anybody but us.

  8. I would love a wii fit because then I could actually exercise without having to find a babysitter for my little monkey… hey he’d probably do it with me.

  9. I would give the wii and the wii fit to my sister and brother in-law. They have five kids and will never be able to afford one.

  10. I don’t want much. My cell phone is ancient and my husband, who’s kind of a gear nerd is always hearing me ask “why?” when he says we need a new [fill in gadget here.]. We’re a modest household and because I’m the main breadwinner and a freelancer, we’re pretty careful about how we spend our income. But oh, my, god, I don’t know if I’ve fallen for the ads or am somehow channeling an 11 year old… I want a Wii. I wouldn’t go out and buy one, there’s just no way I could justify the expense, but should I win one, well, there I’d be, in the basement practicing yoga and playing… what…have they released Ukulele Hero for the Wii yet?

  11. I would love a Wii Fit and system because I have a hard time finding the time to workout away from home, and I only have 10 months until my son returns from his mission. I have the misfortune to be gaining weight at an alarming rate due to my time in life 🙁 .

  12. I need to lose my baby weight and with a 6 mo. old and 3 yr old at home getting out in the snow to exercise doesn’t happen. I’ve played a friends wii and it was awesome. A wii fit looks even more wonderful and right up my alley!

  13. We husband and I would love a Wii Fit, what with snowy weather it’s a little hard to ride our bikes outside! I would like to introduce him to Yoga too. He had surgery a little over a year ago and he is supposed to stay active to retain his strength and flexibility. Our son could participate in the fun too.
    Thanks!

  14. I love to work out, but rarely get the chance since I had my baby. I’d love the convenience of being able to work out in my home and with all the options that Wii Fit has in just one program. Being able to track my progress is encouraging too.

  15. I told the boys (9 & 11) that they don’t need video games and they should play outside, so now I’ll look like a hypocrite if I go buy myself this. But. If I were to receive it as a prize? Totally acceptable. And, I won’t have to get up at 4am to go rowing anymore. I can do it in the basement. YAY!

    Off to twitter about it…http://twitter.com/bigglasses

  16. My husband has always been a video game fanatic…I have not. We have shielded the kids from video games as much as possible…we have two bookcases filled with books. Recently I went to a co-workers party and fell in love with the Wii system…it is much more interactive and promotes group participation unlike any other system. I think our family of 5 will enjoy it very much and help my husband his family video game dream!

  17. I just Twitted about the giveaway while eating a cookie and writing about my big hips, which is why I need it.

  18. I’ve been wanting a Wii Fit!!! I had lost a good bit of weight and then this summer I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and had to stop exercising, per my DR, for a couple of months. I’m just now getting back into it and I would love to have the personal trainer!! I also don’t even own a scale, so I’d love having it to keep track of my weight as well as BMI!! This would be great! My kids would love it as well!

  19. I posted your site on my blog: top right corner:) here’s my link
    http://tiffstwistedribbon.blogspot.com/
    thanks!!

  20. I posted it to my blog- top right corner 🙂
    here’s my link:

    thanks!

  21. Oh! My pulse just started racing!

I’ve been whinging at my husband all throughout November telling him how much I really need a Wii & Wii Fit so that I can become a Hot Mom rather than a “oh, she’s almost 6 and you still haven’t lost the ‘baby weight’ yet” mom!

I would kill (figuratively) for a Wii & Wii Fit!! Or even beg! Or Twitter! or or or… 🙂

Love you guys for this one!
    @GeekMommy

  22. And I twittered it as fast as my little fingers could!!

    http://twitter.com/GeekMommy/status/1057052751

How I want a Wii 🙂 (and a personal virtual trainer to nag me!)

  23. Ok, here’s the thing. I would really use the Wii fit because I’m on a new and improved health kick…I wrote about it here http://tiny.cc/pUorE.

But we already have a Wii. What I’d really like to do is this: my daughter just finished up 2.5 years of chemotherapy and in that time I’ve met some amazing families. The financial strain on a cancer family makes things like new Wii’s impossible. I would like to just donate the Wii to a family coping with a pediatric cancer.

So pick me and you’ll be able to make families very happy.

  24. In a few sentences or less? *whew* I’m a WAHM who’s almost always sitting (at the computer or at my jewelry table) for work. My kids are homeschooled, so it’s easy to stay in one seat or another all day with no exercise other than walking laundry up and down the stairs. I’ve tried jumping on the bed with the kids and that just doesn’t work for me. I’d love to have something that’s fun for me to do that will also be fun for the kids to watch, and vice versa.

Thanks for this opportunity to win!

  25. Weight loss and fun aside. I need a Wii Fit for health purposes. I am a 31 year old mother of two that was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis eight years ago now. After the birth of my second child in May, my symptoms have increased in severity. My balance is worse then my four year old son. My nuerologist advised that I do yoga to improve my strength, coordination and balance. Having a four yr old and 7 month old and working leaves little time to go to an actual yoga class in town. A Wii fit would allow me to take on my neurologists recommendations. I just don’t have the money to purchase one myself. Having a chronic illness gets quite expensive.

  26. I would love a Wii Fit to feel better about my aging body. I would love my husband to try a Wii Fit instead of just taking pills for his blood pressure and cholesterol.

  27. the hubs and I have wanted one for a while. with four kids under 7, it’s impossible for us to get to the gym, so it would be a godsend!

  28. my wife and I have talked about how we would love a wii – being able to get in shape and have fun would be awesome..the kids would probably join in too!

  29. I think that I’d really enjoy a Wii — for the fun games, of course! But I also am always looking for ways to incorporate more exercise into my daily life. Exercise I will actually do. That’s why I’d love to win a Wii Fit. 🙂

  30. My husband and I are going to be separated for the next six months, and we’re having a weight loss contest while we’re apart. I think that a Wii fit would help me in my attempts to crush him in our contest.

  31. Love it! How cool is this?! I’d love to have the Wii and Wii Fit. I’m a stay at home mom and have a husband that works long hours – I can’t get to a gym at reasonable hours. How great would this be to promote and encourage fitness for me and my children at home at all times through a gaming system! That is so wonderful.

  32. I would love a WII fit, why, cause when I laugh I shake like santa! Enough Said!

  33. I added a link to my blog! I was wondering if I did win, could I have the prizes go to two different places???

    http://coloradomcewens.blogspot.com/

  34. My reason(s) to win, well . . .

So my son is almost 14 months old, so he isn’t new. I don’t necessarily have a goal to loose weight but to maintain it as I’m weaning from breastfeeding and scared my lost weight is going to explode from within me somewhere. We are like everyone else trying to figure out how to afford Christmas with the economy and all and scared we wont be able to get for one another. We aren’t the biggest video game fans but the one we would love to own is the Wii fit. This “videogame” stopped us in our tracks at the mall. This would be perfect for a couple recovering from Thanksgiving, and a cookie exchange. Yeah I said it, recovering. You should see those cookies! Don’t believe me, visit my blog at:

Love the chance to win Mile High Mama’s and hanging out with the other Mama’s!

  35. This is comment 3 of 5 for me. Pick me! Pick me! (Sorry…couldn’t resist…) 🙂

  36. And, this is 4 of 5…not that I’m counting. Okay, I’m counting.

  37. And, here is my 5 of 5…whatever you do, DON’T pick me. I DON’T want to win. (is the reverse psychology working?) 🙂

  38. I would love to win a Wii and Wii fit. I recently got to see how one works and what it is all about! I think that having a wii fit would help me to get fit and be healthier in the new year. I have two little girls so going to the gym is not an option so this would over take all my obstacles!

  39. i have been wanting these both for awhile! I live in North Dakota and don’t get to go on my walks any more since it is -28 degrees today! we also don’t have a gym(excuses excuses) i need motivation to work out and I think these would help big time!

  40. I would Love a WII Fit as I recently found out I am Pre Diabetic and obviously losing weight will drastically reduce my chances of getting full blown diabetes! It is winter in CO and in fact we just got hit with a BIG snow storm today! Anyway with cruddy roads it is tough to get to the gym and so would love to be able to work out in my home! They also say that once I lose the weight and fix my pre-diabetes I might be able to get preganant! which is of course what I would love more than anything!! Thank you for reading and I will tweet and Plurk about your blog as well as blog it myself and put it out onb Myspace!!!

  41. I would love a Wii with Wii Fit to work on getting healthier. I just found out from my doctor I need to lose about 50 lbs and get in better shape as my blood pressure is starting to affect my internal organs. Medication will not completely fix the problem. And working out with the Wii, though I’m sure it is tough, should be fun, making me WANT to exercise.

  42. I REALLY want one mostly for my Sanity. I’m at home by myself for 12 hours with 3 small kids….I’ve asked Santa for one!

    http://coloradocouponmom.blogspot.com/

  43. I try to exercise at home with a DVD but I get bored of the smae old thing. With a Wii I could do different things like yoga, tennis and other things that would motivate me to actually exercise more and get fit!!

  44. I would love to get the Wii to give to my sister in law. She’s a single mom, and would love to get her daughter a Wii for her birthday. I would personally keep the Wii Fit for myself, though, because I’m about to give birth any day now, and I want to be able to get back in shape relatively quickly!

  45. I would love a Wii Fit because my husband and I are both trying to get in shape and healthy.

  46. amber… i decided i wanted a wii and the wii fit because you told us how much fun you can have while working out in you wii party post. i then did a little of my own research and this system seems like it would really help me get back into a fitness routine.

so i blame YOU for putting it on my Christmas list and enduring the look and “really?” from my husband. winning it would wipe that smirk from his face.

i’ll plan to promote the give-away on twitter and a post.

    http://www.sunshine-on-my-shoulders.blogspot.com

  47. Things are tight this year… of course I suppose they are for everyone… but this would sure make my boys happy!!!!

  48. I forgot to put my blog addy… http://dabergsblog.blogspot.com/

  49. I am loving the idea of various sorts of indoor fitness! I have posted this giveaway on my Facebook and blog!

  50. I would love to win this since my doctor told me to start a fitness program ASAP! My husband and I have been trying for over 6 years to start a family and my doctor said this will help, in addition to some other things.
I will blog about this too!

    http://www.staciadawn.blogspot.com

  51. This is the only way, and I mean only way that I will ever get a WII. My husband doesn’t like gaming systems even though he likes video games. Go figure. My blog: http://mikekaylynn.blogspot.com

  52. I need to get fit and stay fit… please… I need this… I’ll even be a real life see-how-you-can-get-fit-with-WII Fit icon. 🙂 Everyone can follow my progress! 🙂

  53. Entry number 3
    http://coloradomcewens.blogspot.com/

I blogged about it, and have seen a lot of people coming over!

  54. Number 4…. hope my others still count seeing how I didnt add my FULL name

  55. Oh, what a Merry Christmas it would bii, if I were to win a Wii Fit for our familii! 🙂 We’ve been wanting to spend more ‘game time’ as a family each week, and we want to start our kids young. Being active in the process would be a huge bonus! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

    http://myoriginalself.blogspot.com

  56. I just had a beautiful baby boy a little less than four weeks ago. Money is tight with our new little one and we can no longer afford our gym membership, so the Wii Fit would be a great and economical way to get back into shape!

  57. Number 5 It is in the right corner….. Had it posted but thought it would get buried so, took off the post and put it on the side

  58. Why I need a Wii:

    5. Some days … I just NEED a me-break (or should I say a Wii-break).
    4. With family all over the country – it’d be a great way to have fun while keeping in touch (playing Wii together through our network)
    3. I’ve been NAGGING my husband for one for YEARS (ago, maybe A year, but a year nonetheless!)
    2. Can’t afford a personal trainer – so I need a Wii Fit personal trainer!!
    1. For one more thing to do with my darling family!!

  59. I would loooove to have a Wii. I have a house full of boys, 4 to be exact and they need something to do to get all of that energy out. My husband totally loves video games but has had to make a lot of financial sacrifices to provide for his family and purchasing a Wii isn’t something we can do in the near future.

    http://www.ferfermama.blogspot.com

  60. Between a full time job (45min drive each way), my one-year-old daughter, and 3 hours of side-work every night, I have yet to find time in the day to make it to a gym. I’d LOVE to have a Wii Fit so I could work out whenever I wanted to (like a freezing cold day like today). Plus I really need a “personal trainer” keeping me in line!

    http://momsbyte.com

  61. (Sing along to We Wish You a Merry Christmas)
I wish I had a nintendo wii fit
I wish I had a nintendo wii fit
I wish I had a nintedo wii fit to lose weight next new year.
Good health it would bring, to me and my kid
Good health with a wii fit and a sexy new bod.

    http://walkercolorado.blogspot.com

  62. Added a link to my blog in the right nav: http://momsbyte.com/

  63. At this time of year, who wouldn’t love a wii fit? I think if I had an exercise plan in my own home I would be much more likely to exercise than if I have to drive/trudge through the snow!

  64. Oh snap! A Wii Fit! I’ve been wanting one of these since my next door neighbors have gotten a Wii. My husband and I have to find reasons to come over so we can play. haha hopefully we can get one of our own someday… 🙂

    http://www.dbbergquist.blogspot.com

  65. Wiil, ii Wiid love a Wii to Wiik off mii baby Wiit too, and mii post marriage Wiit from almost 6 years ago ;-). And mii hubby Wiid love iit to be liis tubby (hii hii)! And mii kiid Wiid love iit too! Wii can’t afford a giim membership either, and Wiidn’t have the time to Wiik out there a lot either, so a home Wiikout system Wiid rock!!! So, Wiid love to be piiked for the Wii and Wii Fit!!!

  66. I would love to win a Wii! We don’t have video games of any type here at home but have seen it in action at a relative’s house and think it’s a fun system and a way for my family to play and exercise together indoors when we don’t want to be outside.

  67. I <3 WiiFit! i’m currently borrowing one from my friend – but i really don’t want to give it back! it’s not only fun but it really does give you a good work out – i never knew that i had “hula hoop” muscles before the WiiFit. 😉

  68. my mom got a bit of the empty nesters syndrome when i left for college quite a few years ago…..and now i have four relatively new siblings at home. as a single parent she is struggling, but as the surrogate other parent it’s equally as hard on me!

with one now in college i’ve picked up a laptop and a few smaller items, but i think it would be great if my kids could have an outlet to work and play together. and i think itd be the best thing ever to see my mom getting her wii fit on! nothing like a mothers love!

  69. Alrighty, here’s the thing. I have my youngest daughter, age 8 going through chemo fro a brain tumor right now. So, not only do I stuff my face with comfort food, I have no time to go do anything about it. My 3 kids would have to be scraped off the ceiling they would be so darned excited to have a Wii! It is something that we simply could NOT afford to do for them this year. And if it would give me the benefit of making my behind be somewhat normal sized and the whole emotional therapy of exercise would be a huge added benefit for me!

So, please, please, please, pickmepickmepickme!!! :-))

    Natalie

  70. I would be so excited to win! My kids would love, love, love to have a wii in the house. We would have a household wii fit competition. My boys would love that! I really need to find out how “unbalanced” I’ve become and I’d love a way to rebalance. Thanks for doing this contest! How fun!

  71. I have been wanting to try the wii fit because I find working out really boring. I am hoping the fit makes it a little more interesting for me. Plus, I live in Chicago and I hate the heat, which makes summertime exercise outdoors miserable for me.

  72. Here’s my 3rd entry. Did I mention that I had a BLAST on my friend’s Rockband and love the idea of the Wii. Even though I’ve always been completely against video games! You can explain away a video game if you’re exercising to it, right?!

  73. I heart Nintendo for making this product! I really really want this Wii Fit and Santa said he already made me my present this year, so I’ll have to find another way to get one. I don’t really like exercising, but realize that it is a necessary evil, so the Wii Fit seems like the perfect “fit” for me!

  74. I need this spectacular Wii! I have been craving one for a while now. I would like to drop a few pounds while having fun! It is so much fun to play with friends, I need one for myself! 🙂

    http://www.thelandofchild.blogspot.com

  75. enter me again, pleeeese! 🙂

  76. one entry for each of my family members plus one!

  77. I really really want this wii!

  78. I really really want the fit too!

  79. One last plug!

  80. 4 kids ages 9-6 months and only 24 hours in a day. HmmmI’m thinking this would be amazing for the whole family and we wouldn’t have to spend the gas money to hit the gym.

  81. rimmasch.blogspot.com

  82. I guess I should’ve posted the actual site of the blog post.
    http://hope-abounds.blogspot.com/2008/12/check-this-out.html
    this is #3!

  83. Did I mention my husband and daughter would use it too? We’d be a “wii fit” family! Ha! Get it, “we fit”!

  84. Alrighty #5, I really want the wii/wii fit! Pleeeese!

  85. Wow, I am like you Amber not a gamer at all, but I tried the Wii once at a friends and really liked it.

I would love to be able to do some of the exercise programs because I can’t afford to go to do Yoga.

Also, I would love to have that game that you can play interactively with a friend that is somewhere else and have a conversation.

    Heidi Ahrens

  86. I would like to win this Wii Fit because it might save my life. You see I live in an Igloo in Alaska. Every time I go outside to exercise I run the risk of being eaten by a polar bear. With a Wii fit I could exercise indoors and not only stay fit but stay alive…in more ways than one.

  87. I would like to win this Wii Fit because it might save my life. You see I live in an Igloo in Alaska. Every time I go outside to exercise I run the risk of being eaten by a polar bear. With a Wii fit I could exercise indoors and not only stay fit but stay alive…in more ways than one.

  88. And here’s the 4th. I really really want that Wii!

  89. Just in case the 5th time’s a charm…

  90. Here’s my entry #2 of 5. Pick me! 🙂

  91. “Wow Wii!” is what I say!

A Wii Fit would be incredible for our family. Not only would I love a Wii Fit to get some more exercise, but my whole family would have a blast using it – especially when it is cold and snowy outside. My little ones need to get that extra energy out and that is more difficult to do when the weather is bad.

  92. Low impact, that is what I need with a Wiiiiii.

  93. I’ve been trying to win a Wii for a year now. We work with college students via a nondemoninational Christian mission group, and have found it to be a huge draw. We’d love to be able to have them over in our home playing Wii with us!!!

  94. Here’s my comment #3 of 5. I am SO hoping to win to Wii!

  95. I really want a Wii, mostly for the Wii Fit, though being able to play games with my husband would be a huge plus and something we would definitely enjoy doing! I need to get some baby weight off and have heard so many good things about the Wii Fit! I would love love love to win!

    Lindsey

  96. I tweeted this giveaway! Username: kindred_spirit.

  97. I want a wii so I can say corny things like “Didn’t WII have fun!” or “Why don’t WII go bowling?!”

I’m really, really corny like that.

  98. I like the idea of a Wii on two fronts:
With 3 kids under age five, I am finding it harder and harder to squeeze in time for the gym. A Wii would mean getting more exercise at home. You know, other than chasing three kids around.
Also, I have shied away from owning ANY game system because of how much you sit while doing it. If we’re going to let a game system into the house, it needs to help, not hurt, us get more activity into our days!

  99. I would love to win a Wii fit because I need a way to become active and healthy again. I have baby weight to lose, but my daughter is very attached and I cannot leave her with a sitter or at daycare so that I can go to the gym. The Wii fit would be a way for me to exercise at home with her.

    http://experimentations-marissa.blogspot.com/

  100. I would love to give this thing a try! I am sick of the treadmill for winter cardio workouts, and we can’t really afford something else right now…

  101. I feel like the last person on the planet to get a Wii. We have tried them out at the mall and thought it looked so fun but just don’t have the funds to purchase it. And the Wii fit would be so nice to keep me motivated not to gain too much weight while pregnant.

  102. I would love to have the Wii and Wii fit, cuz I am having a baby in a few short months, and once the baby is here, I’d love to shed a few pounds. My kids are dying to get a Wii too, and I’ve heard they are so much fun for families to play together.

    http://www.krisnkrew.blogspot.com (private)

  103. I need a Wii fit because I can’t afford to leave my family for twelve weeks to join the Biggest Losers at their swanky ranch! Who would feed my fish while I was gone?

Okay, just kidding, I don’t have any fish. But I need the motivation to lose the pounds FOUR CHILDREN have helped me gain over the course of fifteen years! Gravity kicks in at thirty, people!

  104. I woulde like to win the wii fit cause my butt cheeks move faster than my feet do when I walk. Not pretty. Not! Pretty!
Plus…since I don’t have to lug 3 kids to the gym I might be more motivated!

    http://www.vidal12home.blogspot.com/

  105. I would love to win this! As you know – Noah is 3 months old and I would like to lose some more weight!

  106. I am a stay at home mom with 2 little kids. I would love to have a wii and wii fit to get back in shape in the comfort of my own home. having two kids and one income I cannot afford a gym membership or to pay a babysitter to go the gym. I have a friend who lost 83 pounds already from the wii fit and know that it works. Please pick me so I can lose 83 pounds too……..

  107. I would love to get the Wii and Wii fit. My husband teases me that I won’t play any games with him, but I would if we had a Wii.

  108. Wii is fun, fun, fun.

  109. I need ( and yes I did say need) a Wii Fit. I’m 34 and am currently growing out instead of up. I love being active with my kids but now I drive school bus for 11 hours a day and then come home to take care of the house. I can’t even figure out what happened to all the time. I do know there’s not enough to excercise. Not to mention it would help my kids see the fun of excercise. here is our link chadconi.blogspot.com

  110. I bookmarked Mile High Mama’s on my del.icio.us, does that count?

    “Santa Baby
Slip a Wii under the tree,
    for me,
I’ve been an aweful good girl,
    Santa Baby
And hurry down the chimey with Wiiiiiiii !!!”
    :~p

  111. chimey = chimney

    :~O

  112. I bookmarked Mile High Mama’s on my del.icio.us, does that count?

    “Santa Baby

    :~p

  113. I’ve been hearing a lot of good comments on the product and would like to try one. Right now I’m stuck to h20 aerobics for ease on joints. As always need to loose weight I understand Wii helps in monitoring that !:)

  114. Ohhhh… I would LOVE to win this. I need a way to get moving a bit more myself- but I also have a super active little guy who’s doctor suggested a WII Fit to help him gain some control and balance so he is a bit safer when he’s bouncing off the walls!! 🙂

    Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!!

  115. Twittered it!! {OneHouseSchool}

    Thanks again!! 🙂

  116. I’ll be 50 in a couple of months, and I want to give myself the gift of better health, fitness, strength, and, OF COURSE, vitality. A Wii Fit would be an enormous help in achieving these goals!

  117. My son turns 1 on Jan. 31. I MUST get back to my pre-pregnancy weight by his first birthday, and keeping working to get to a good healthy weight even after that. That’s got a deadline, too. I’m in a wedding in June and we’re planning on starting to try for another after the wedding. So help! My sister-in-law is receiving a Wii Fit for Christmas from our whole family pulling together. It would really great to help motivate each other to get in shape and stay that way.

  118. My hubby and I have been “students” for the past 3+ years. It would be great to have something as wonderful as a Wii to help me (and our 4 children) get all the bugs out during our long, cold winters. Thanks!

  123. I already have a Wii… but I would love the Wii Fit! It would mean the jiggily jigglers all over my body would slowly melt away. And, I could give the Wii console to a friend! I think that would earn me “best friend” status for life!

  124. With the single digit temps we’ve been having . . . which is making running outside almost impossible, a Wii would come in handy! 🙂 I’ve watched my neighbor do Wii Fit and I know that if I was under my own roof I’d Wii Fit too!

  125. My friend got a Wii Fit a few months ago and I have coveted it ever since!!! I can’t really afford a gym membership and since I don’t have a car everyday and babysit a few days a week, scheduling time for the gym is pratically impossible anyway. I’ve tried checking out aerobic videos from the library, but my kids aren’t big fans and will simply turn them off in the middle of a work out. And putting them in consecutive timeouts doesn’t burn the same amount of calories. (Believe me, I know!!)

We’ve visited my friend’s house a few times and my boys just play the Wii with me. They understand that it’s a video game and LOVED playing it. We could seriously do the Wii for 4 hours a day and they’d love it. As would I. I was a “calorie-roaster” after only 5 minutes on the hula hoop- heart pounding, sweat foming on the back of my neck. Sad, but true. (Also exciting to me. Sweat! YES!)

I am 25, but my Wii fit age is 32. I’d like to change that. =D My husband I were looking at trying to get a Wii and Wii Fit for Christmas, but we simply can’t spend $400 on it. It’s just not there, and we aren’t willing to put it on a credit card.

    I am MOST DEFINATELY linking!!!

  126. I really want to win this. I have played the Wii Fit with friends and it is awesome. It would be a great way to get my kids to exercise with me. Thanks for the give away.

  131. please oh please oh please. I don’t want to be unbalanced (more than I already am!) and I want my kids to at least be active if they’re going to watch TV for hours a day.
And weight loss is definately a needed thing for me.

  132. I would LURVE to win a Wii & Wii Fit! My kids & I are so out of shape it will help us a TON!

  133. I would love to win this..because it is a fabulous prize!! You rock!! Please enter me!!

  134. My husband and my lazy booties have tried to make it to the gym for the length of our 8 year marriage. We even joined a YMCA at one point and soon cancelled saying that the warm weather made it too hard to park it inside. We have a little dude now, so any chance of real adult exercise is null and void. AND, the idea of having a game system that we can enjoy together is rather exciting. Our little man would have a blast watching Mom and Dad romp around looking like fools:)

  135. I tweeted it…my name is melissas_desk

  136. I would love to have a Wii fit, one because I need my butt kicked, and two, my kids could really use a pick me up right now and we don’t have a gaming system. I too have never liked them. 😉

  137. I have gained 30 lbs this year. I have tried the gym membership but rarely have the chance to do much outside of the house. Our schedules are busy are are trying to find a way to work out right in out house. This is the perfect solution.
    Thanks!

  138. My 4 boys, husband and I would love this. Especially with the freezing cold, my boys could use some exercise indoors. With a new baby, I could stand to exercise too.

  139. Hi!! I would absolutely love to win this! I have been trying to lose weight for over a year, and need something to help kick start my new goal for next year. Plus, I know my kids would really enjoy having a Wii. Thanks so much for offering this great giveaway!!

  140. Just tweeted it! Here’s the link to my twitter profile:

  143. I REALLY want a Wii and Wii Fit. You can ask my husband, all I do is talk about how much I want this but know I will not get it because we just don’t have the money right now. I wrote about it on my blog but I lost 20 lbs this year and now that I am staying home with my daugther it is harder to get to the gym. She doesn’t like going to the daycare there so I can only go at night which is not easy. This way I would be able to work out at home which would be so much more convienent. I love working out and staying in shape and just really don’t want to gain the weight back.

  144. Oops I forgot to leave my blog it is….

  146. I would love to win a Wii because my kids and I and my husband would get into shape and have a ball doing it! Thanks

  147. With 14-month old twins and another set of twins on the way it gives a new meaning to “stay at home mom”. Going to the gym is pure fantasy. Let’s be honest, going ANYWHERE is pure fantasy.

With the Wii system I can get back my pre-prego body AND keep all 4 littles entertained in the process.

Please, I beg you, my sanity REALLY needs this win.

  148. because my thighs will tell you I need it:)

  149. Oh I’ve wanted one of these since they first came out. I would love to get in shape with the wii fit. With the cold weather, it would be a great way to stay in shape when I can’t get outside. My family would also love this when they come visit!

  150. Here’s my entry #4 of 5. Thanks!

  151. Here’s my entry #3 of 5.

  152. And entry #4 of 5.

  153. And lastly, #5 of 5. Thanks!!

  154. I’d love to have a Wii and Wii fit because I’m desperate to get back into shape, but can never get outside to work out before it gets dark out! I’m twittering about this contest here:

    http://twitter.com/Wonderspot

  155. Here’s comment 2/5….fingers crossed!

  156. I would love to have a wii fit, it looks like so much fun, and with the holidays it is so hard to be inspired to do anything productive, such as excercise. Plus I love the fact that this is something you can do with the whole family.

  157. Comment 3/5.

  158. I just had knee surgery at the beginning of November. I spent 2 months before and a month after not able to work out at all! I really need to get back into the swing of things. Wii Fit sounds like a great way to do that. And I’ve searched everywhere, and you can’t buy them.

  159. I would LOVE a Wii for my three kids. They have been dying for one but we have a playstation so I don’t really want to buy them one. Wii fit would be awesome for me…i need some way to stay in shape when it is too cold to run outside!!!

  160. Comment 4/5

  161. Wow! a Wii would be great to help lose weight. I her they are good for us grannies, ie easy on the joints.

  162. My butt: big.

    My wedding: three months away.

My motivation when it’s cold: zero.

My possible salvation: a Wii fit.

Don’t let it keep you up at night, but whether or not I can fit into my wedding dress now depends on you…

    http://howfabisthat.com

  163. Oh how badly I want one–I keep hearing about how great they are and I’ve never even tried it.

I can post this on the message board I’ve got going–

  164. I could definitely use it to help work on reducing christmas cookie excess weight and increase balance.

  165. Here’s my final comment. Here’s hoping!!!! Thanks again for the chance!!

  166. Because I really hope we can finish our basement this year and actually have a space to work out with a Wii in!!!

  167. My kids and I have been wanting a Wii for all the family fun we can have together. Add exercise capabilities with the Wii Fit and I am completely sold! What a wonderous concept – have fun – get fit – be together!

  168. We pruchased a wii fit several months ago and juuusssttt love it. The grandchildren came to “play” and what great fun and exercise as well! Subsequently, two of my three daughters purchased it for their family. It is so great to see the children getting in shape while having fun. I am entering this contest in hopes of winning a wii fit for my third daughter. They have three children and in this sad economy, have not been able to purchase one. It’s only been a dream for the children. They live 2 hrs from our house and cannot come over to “play” like their cousins did.
With your help, I would like to make my grandchildrens dream come true. Please choose me!

  169. I just recently tried Wii with my kids and we had soooooooooo much fun! Finally there’s a video game that we all like. This would make a great Christmas present…it just wasn’t in our budget this year, which is why I’d LOVE to win one!

  170. I would love to have a Wii Fit to help me over the weight loss (or lack of weight loss) hump that I’m currently experiencing. I’m bored doing the same old exercises and would love something different. I can’t afford to buy one so it would be great to win one. I think my little grandson would enjoy it, too, as he loves to ROCK OUT!!

We recently moved here from Atlanta and are still trying to settle in. My husband and I both work and our daughter is in daycare. We haven’t had a chance to get out much and meet people so far. Getting a Wii would help us have something fun to do with new folks we meet and our neighbors. It also would give us something fun to do with our 23 month daughter during the winter months (we came from a very warm place!).

  172. The link is posted on my facebook page.

  173. I would love a Wii Fit! I’m 49 and just need to lose weight and have a good time. This is time for me now, after raising my kids and hubby. Lol. Thanks for the chance to win!

  174. Oh, how fun! We already have the Wii (last year’s Christmas gift), so now we need some more active games and things to go with it. I’d love to show my husband that yoga is indeed HARD, and that I could kick his butt in down dog anyday.

  175. I would love to win a Wii Fit because although my daughter is already a year old, I still haven’t lost all the baby weight and also because I want to be healthier and more fit overall! I’m sure having a Wii Fit would help me accomplish those things in no time at all!

  176. I would love a Wii fit. I hear the use it for physical therapy, which I will need after being on bed-rest during this pregnancy.

  177. I would love a wii fit for my mom so that she can have an excuse to exercise 😉

  178. I teach school and have two out of 5 gkids live with me. I need to be fit to keep up with all my children in my life.
    It is on my blog:

    http://www.tbambasbabies.blogspot.com/

  179. I’ve been wanting a Wii Fit for a while now. I hate going to the gym and can’t afford the membership, so this would be perfect in helping me achieve my weight loss goals.

    http://www.nytrogirl.com

    Twittered about it: http://www.twitter.com/Nytro_Girl

Thanks for the opportunity to hopefully better myself and make me feel happier and healthier.

  180. Well, shucks the whole family could use the wii fit to get fit. And my dh needs it the most and he is cheap and won’t pay for a gym membership so he needs it the most. I don’t want him dying of a heart attack or something.

    http://www.live4truth13.blogspot.com

  181. Why a Wii Fit? Because it just looks like a blast and anything that get me to think that working out looks fun has got to be amazing. Besides…it would give me something amazing to blog about!!!

  182. My hubby has lost 112 lbs since June! I could loose 30 myself and the Wii fit would definitely help me follow his lead! Thanks for the AWEsome give-oh-way!

  183. I would love a Wii Fit to get the exercise I need in…I have high blood pressure and need to find ways to keep active, even in the winter!

  184. I would love to have a Wii Fit because I have a friend who’s been combing the earth; high & low for one to give to their family for Christmas. I would gift it to them and their family as their daughter is handicapped and could really use this as part of her therapy. Their whole family could join in as well, so it’s a win-win!

  185. Great giveaway! I’d love to win this because I need to get some weight off and it would be fun to do as a family, particularly my oldest son.

  186. I tweeted this giveaway at http://twitter.com/valmg/status/1059942376

  187. I soooo want a Wii – the Wii fit would fit so well for exercising with my busy schedule 🙂

  188. DOOOD! Enter me, baby!

  189. I so want a this! Pick Me! Pick Me!

  190. i would like to win this for my sister. she’s pregnant – due in march. this will help her get back into pre-baby shape! thanks.

  191. I’m not surprised that this is so popular. Who doesn’t want a Wii? As for me, I still have a little bit of baby weight I’d like to get off before having another one that will surely cause me to need this again. Plus, I’m sure this would keep my daughter entertained enough to give me a break once in a while so I don’t have to lock her in her room (just kidding).

  192. I posted the link:

    🙂

  193. Who wouldn’t want to win a Wii Fit!? Indoor fun when it’s -8 outside, sounds perfect to me! I would have totally loved that Wii Fit Party! What a great idea! Pick me Pick me!!

  194. I just joined Wii Fit Mommiis and I am on a mission to lose weight in 2009! I think Wii fit can really help me do that!

  195. We can’t afford to join a gym. This would help get us moving and get heart healty!

  196. I would really like to win the WII fit. I go to the gym, but would like to work out at home in the evening!

  197. My kids and I need to win this. My hubby hates video games and won’t buy us one!

  198. I would love to have this! I have been drooling for a Wii and WiiFit ever since they came out. I love to do yoga and am dying to try the WiiFit yoga program! Plus the hula hoop! That should help keep the blood moving during dreary cold winter days! Pick me! Pick me!

  199. I have really enjoyed my Wii Fit. I would love to win one to give to my sister. She’s been my biggest supporter and encourager in trying to get in shape.

  200. I would love to win a Wii for my little brother. He is begging me for one for Christmas. If I win I’ll make him really happy, and he deserves it too!! such a great kid 🙂

  201. I would love a wii fit because I have heard from so many people how much fun they are! Pick me, pick me!

    amandasfive.blogspot.com

  202. My husband is significantly overweight and very excercise phobic. I have tried everything…family walks, refusing to drive him to the train station so he has to ride his bike…he usually wiggles out of it all! I want him to be healthier, live longer, and set a good example for my kids. Luckily he loves video games so the Wii Fit would probably motivate him to get started getting into shape. He could also play with my nine year old, which would be great. Ken is really busy with work and they need some bonding time together.

I love that the Wii encourages kids to be more active, and I think that it would give my four, five and nine year olds a chance to play together, which is always welcome.

Of course mom (me) would love to play and also needs to get into shape.

    -Bridget

  203. My son is 18 months old and mommy still has not lost the pregnancy weight. As a matter of fact I believe I weigh more now than I did when I was pregnant. Having a Wii will enable me to be the healthiest mom I can be for my son and I can exercise around my schedule.

  204. I’m just about to have another baby and need to lose some weight. The Wii Fit would be great because I won’t have to leave the house. I also have a toddler, so losing the weight at home will be needed. I could do the Wii Fit and the jogging stroller. Thanks!

  205. 30 excess pounds says it all. My girlfriend has one and we have so much fun with it. I’d love to have my own. Thanks k

  206. First your blog is beautiful! I have posted a link to this contest on both of my blogs http://www.christiecrowder.com and http://chatterboxreviews.blogspot.com (both are at the top before the posts begin) I also Tweeted about it…@cgccoach Thanks!

  207. I would love to win a Wii Fit because it looks like a great fun way to get into shape. I need exercise to be engaging for me to continue with a program. My email is info(at)serahsonline(dot)com.

    I sure hope I win!

  208. I tweeted about the contest.

  210. I would LOVE to win this Wii Fit! My girls played a neighbor’s and they just loved it but it’s well out of our price range this Christmas.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  211. what a great give away. Have been wanting the Wii fit since I run a biz from home, and it would be wonderful to work an exercise routine in when it’s dark outside.

    Happy holidays http://thegrapeseedcompany.com

  212. I want a wii because I have kids….need I say more?

  213. We actually already have a Wii, so I would give a Wii to the local community center for the teens. But, I’d love to have a Wii Fit to go with our system. There are just so many possibilities, and I’m sure it will get my Lucas off the sofa a little more (he’s not really into sports and things, so he spends more time inside than my other kids)

  214. Okay, entry #5 of 5 for me! Thanks for this chance to win the Wii!

  215. I have been wanting this so I can really get myself to exercising on a regular basis but I keep telling hubby we can’t afford it. I would love to win this, thanks for the chance.

    Off to tweet ya!

    I’m @carissarogers on twitter.com

  218. The kids are getting Wii for Christmas from the grandparents an i really need to start exercising as I am a matron of honor for my sister in May.

  219. I would love the wii and wii fit. I have been drooling over it for awhile now. I desperately need to lose weight but haven’t been able to do much with a messed up knee. I think having the virtual trainer would be awesome! An my boys (12 and 6) would love the other games you can play with it!

  220. Would love to win a Wii. Could definitely use a fun way to lose weight. Thanks

  221. I would love to win a Wii Fit. I have had my eyes on it forever, but I don’t own a Wii, so the upfront investment is just too much for me right now. I have been on weight watchers since Nov of 2007 and have lost 57 lbs. I have 21 more lbs to go to get to my goal weight and would like the Wii Fit to help me get there. My goal is to get there by my birthday which is in February! I have tweeted (http://twitter.com/MothersBoutique) about this contest and posted a link on my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=1324943114&ref=profile. Please enter me 3 times!! My blog URL is http://mommynewsblog.com

  222. Maybe the Wii can help me determine if I am doing all of those yoga poses correctly! Currently I try to do yoga in front of the tv and just hear laughing from my husband and three year old son. Of course, when my son tries to jump in I have to admit I am laughing as well. It would be another great activity for our family and help us all stay healthy too!

  223. Thanks for the contest.

A Wii Fit would be a great way for me to try to get back in shape as I recover from neck surgery later this month. It offers low impact ways for me to lose the weight gained from medications I have been taking to control the pain. Plus I won’t have to worry about driving.

  230. I just can’t seem to get back into the whole exercise routine after having my daughter 7 1/2 months ago. I think a Wii Fit just might do the trick! I posted the link to this contest on my facebook page as well. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=799073432&v=feed&story_fbid=106096460505#/profile.php?id=799073432&ref=profile&pub=2915120374

  231. Well first my kids would think I am the coolest mom ever if I won a Wii. In addition, I have multiple sclerosis and this causes me a lot of balance issues. I have heard great things about the Wii Fit for working out and working on balance.
What a fab contest- going to twitter right now 🙂

  232. Oh this is an exciting offer! We have been trying to locate a Wii everyday for weeks now and have been able to. Husband and I both want to loose weight and thought this would be a great way to get the entire family involved.

  233. Holy Moses- they are giving away a Wii and a Wii fit http://tinyurl.com/5878ns

  234. I would love the Wii Fit, I am currently 5 1/2 months prego and can definately use this~!

  235. I would love to win the Wii fit so I could get in shape!

  236. I am a 43 year old obese mother of a 3 year old who we adopted recently and now I have someone who depends on me. I would like to live long enough to see my grand kids so I know I need to do something about my weight – to get healthy! I think a Wii Fit would be a fun way to do that!

  237. I would love to win the Wii + Wii Fit for myself and my family. I like to exercise outside, but I’ve lost enough weight that I don’t have enough ‘insulation’ now…can’t stand to go out and exercise in the cold anymore.

  238. We’ve asked for a Wii Fit for Christmas, but my in-laws can’t find one anywhere! This would be incredible to win so I can get back in shape!!!

  239. My overweight husband really needs one of these to start exercising. He is too embarrassed to go to the gym so I am looking for ANYTHING that will get him started on some sort of exercise program.

  240. Why would I like a Wii? Well, I am a stay at home mom to 3 toddlers AND I own my own candy business. After taste testing recipes for the last several months, a Wii or Wii Fit would be a much needed and very welcomed addition to my home! LOL
I added your link to my website:
    http://sybb.webs.com/freebies.htm
Hopefully you get some traffic heading your way =)

  241. Wow, people have posted lots of great and often noble reasons they want to win this contest and I have nothing to compare. Like many here, I just had a baby and also have a 2 year old and I’d like a miracle to restore myself to something close to my pre-baby body.

  242. I would love a wii and wii fit. I’m out of shape, really and we don’t have a wiii, because my gamer husband and son play on the xbox instead. I would love the wii and wii fit, something I can do since I don’t [play those other things.

  243. We just got a Wii in the mail from my Mother for Christmas! I need a Wii fit because I am a homeschooling, mother of four who has a gym membership but no time to use it. The travel time & preparations are a huge obstacle!

I’ve posted a link about this contest on my blog!
    http://tonyastwocents.blogspot.com/2008/12/win-wii-fit.html

  244. Hi, I absolutely need the Wii and Wii Fit! I have tried going to the gym and did really well initially but after seeing no results I became discouraged and gave up. I am overweight for my frame and there seems to be nothing I can do to remedy this.

I’ve tried eating healthy, excercise, but nothing seems to work.

I’ve hear GREAT things about the Wii Fit and have tried for the longest time to get it but it’s ALWAYS sold out.

Here is the link to my blog: http://divateesthoughts.blogspot.com/

  245. A second reason I’d like to win a Wii Fit is that I need new & fun ways to work out. Variety helps motivate me!

I’ve posted a link about this contest on my blog!
    http://tonyastwocents.blogspot.com/2008/12/win-wii-fit.html

  246. I bought the kids the Wii last summer, and think they spend too much time inside watching tv and playing video games. This will help them (and my wife and me) exercise. We already tried Dance Dance Revolution, but it proved a bit to difficult for the kids, but we love it!

pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me,

    😉 ~Ed

  247. My third reason for wanting to win a Wii Fit is that I have 20 pounds I want to lose yesterday! Four babies will do that to a girl… sigh…

I’ve posted a link about this contest on my blog!
    http://tonyastwocents.blogspot.com/2008/12/win-wii-fit.html

  248. Let’s see… a fourth reason I should win this Wii Fit?

I want to set an example of living a healthy lifestyle for my four homeschooled children. Working out in their presence (and having fun at it) would be an awesome way to do this!

I’ve posted a link about this contest on my blog!
    http://tonyastwocents.blogspot.com/2008/12/win-wii-fit.html

  249. And, finally… My fifth reason I’d like to win this Wii Fit: I do a lot to make sure my family’s needs, and many of their desires, are met. This would be a chance to do a little of the same for myself! 😉

I’ve posted a link about this contest on my blog!
    http://tonyastwocents.blogspot.com/2008/12/win-wii-fit.html

  250. I would love to win a Wii Fit because I seriously do not have time or money for a gym membership (doubt I’d end up using it) and I really need to lose the 30 extra pounds I’ve been carrying since my youngest was born. I’ve got 3 boys who would gladly provide me with needed competition and encouragement to succeed.

  251. I would love a Wii Fit so I could work out with my 3 homeschooled girls here in Alaska! Thanks for doing this!! Pretty Please pick me!

  252. I want a Wii because I am tired. I am tired of being fat. I am tired of hiding who I am inside a fat body. I am tired of hiding myself in my husbands clothes. I am tired of people looking at me funny. I am tired of feeling worthless and lonely. I WANT ME BACK! I want a Wii because I want myself back. I don’t want it for my kids. I don’t want it for my husband. I WANT A Wii JUST FOR ME ME ME! (and I am willing to let peopole know just what a Wii did for me if I am allowed to bring it home)
    Thanks

  253. I wish you a Merry Christmas, i wish you a Merry Chistmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Wii Fit for me la la la
I need the Wii Fit to have some fun and lose a few pounds:)
Awesome giveaway MOMS! Off to tweet!

  254. Oh how I would love to win this!! I’d love to win it because we have a daughter with special needs and I spend all my time driving her around to therapy appointments, special ed preschool, appointments with specialists, etc. I don’t have time to go to the gym, but I’ve heard GREAT things about the Wii Fit. This would allow me to actually exercise for the first time since I had my kids…and I could do it on my own schedule since I’d be at home…not on some health club’s schedule. This would be a great Christmas present for myself. 🙂

  255. I want one of these so my family can have more fun when we gather. Not to mention, the holidays are coming and the cookies refuse to let me say no. This would be a great gift!

  256. The Wii Fit is one form of exercise that I CAN fit into my lifestyle, which is EXACTLY why I’m hoping and praying to win one. We have a daughter with special medical needs, which means we can’t just “get a babysitter” for me to get to a gym. We don’t have any family close and Hubby owns his own business, which means he works long hours and travels a lot. Not being able to get out of the house much = me being mega out-of-shape. Yikes. I have 50 pounds to lose and need to find something that I can and WILL do in my home. I’ve tried lots of videos, but they’re just not motivating. Exercise equipment is space-hogging and expensive.

I think I would actually use the Wii Fit because of how interactive it is. I love that it gives you feedback, and I think I will feel more like I’m playing than working. I also hope that my daughter could someday do some of the activities with me. I’m most interested in yoga and Rhythm Boxing, but the hoola hoop thing sounds fun too!

Thanks for the chance to enter! Here’s a blog post about my fitness goals:

  257. I included a link at my blog post here:

  258. We don’t have a wii. As a matter of fact we don’t have ANY game console and all. My son (who’s away at college) has one, but poor old mom & dad…NADA. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to start exercising and having a Wii Fit (and a Wii) would mean that I could do it in the house. PLUS, I’d be the “COOL KID” on the block (even if I AM 54 years old).

  259. I’m pretty sure a Wii & Wii Fit would change my life. It would be so cool to win!

    I’m twittering this also — http://www.twitter.com/ibeforem

  260. And I also gave a thumbs up on StumbleUpon, if that counts!

  261. I would love to lose some post=baby fat! I have a bunch of friends (and my own sister) that live on my street, so we would all share! Thanks!

  262. I could write you a book on why I would like this! I will try not to though lol I received a Wii from Santa this year (THANKS SANTA!) and I can’t find the WF anywhere. Which is why I wanted the Wii. I have a 6 year old son who along with myself and hubby need to lose a little weight. I think this game would be a fantastic way for us to do it as a family and show him a healthier life can be fun! I have entered every contest on the net that I could find and Have had no good fortune yet. Maybe this one will be it! Thanks for the chance to win!!

  263. tweeted! Thanks!

  264. OOOHHH! I want a Wii Fit for my daughter’s family for Christmas! Even if it’s late, they will SOOO love it! Tweeted!

  265. A wii is exactly what my little sister is asking me to get her for Christmas! Of course, I told her no way, but what a nice surprise it could be!

  266. third entry:) Love your website and all your hard work. I know, it’s alot:)

  267. fouth entry- Love Wii!

  268. Fifth entry- Crossed fingers and toes!

  269. How could I not use it? Never make it to the gym any longer, as one shower a day is a stretch with my little munchkin around!

  270. A Wii would be awesome to win!

  271. I don’t have time to go work out outside of the home, so a wii fit would be amazing to have!

  272. I would love to win this for our whole family to use. We are all into games and computers, but that means we are sitting on our butts way too much of the time. The Wii and Wii Fit would give us a chance to still do techy stuff we like, but be active at the same time and be healthier!

  273. I’ve had two kids in 3-1/2 years. And I look like I am still pregnant. Did I mention the youngest is a year old now? That’s just sad. I need a Wii to make me feel and LOOK better. 🙂

  274. I would love, love, love a Wii + Wii fit – I am currently 3 months pregnant and need something to occupy my obsessive mind. The fit would be perfect for an easy, at-home, post-baby workout. What’s not to love about that?!

  275. Oh my gosh, my husband would just die if I won this. We have wanted Wii Fit since it came out. I am like you, don’t really like the video games but as soon as my husband had me play the Wii I was hooked…even my kids love it.

  276. Love the Wii, announced your give away on my blog spenceandty.blogspot.com

  277. TyLeen Dixon Third entry

  278. TyLeen Dixon:forth entry

  279. TyLeen Dixon:firth entry…my husband would just die if I won…wish me luck!

  280. I have been wanting a Wii and Wii Fit for almost a year. It’s on my Christmas list. I have weight to lose and no gym membership in sight. In the winter I am especially not motivated to exercise.

  281. My husband and I are planning to start trying for a baby early next year, and it would be great to be able to get in shape before and during the pregnancy. Plus I really REALLY want to work on my mad yoga skillz on that balance board!! 😀

  282. This Baby Boomer Grandma would luv to win the Wii or Wii Fit! I hear they’re all the rage in rest homes to keep Boomers’ active!

    Really ~ I could use some exercise ~ I blog a lot!

    Here’s my Tweet:
moomettesgram You really want to see me on YouTube if I win a Wii & Wii Fit from Mile High Mama’s Giveaway!~right? Enter to win: http://tinyurl.com/5878ns half a minute ago from web

  283. my 91yo grandmother just discovered wii bowling at a friend’s house — i would love to win this for my whole family to enjoy together, and grandma would love for me to win it so she can out-bowl us again!

  284. I would love a wii and a wii fit. I am a stroke survivor and my exercise routines are limited and getting quite boring and I have heard wonderful things about wii fit. I have yet to hear of someone who does not love theirs. I think this would be an excellent way for me to help my motor coordination and for the neurons to make new connections, thus speeding up my recovery and getting me back into shape.

  285. I would LOVE to have a wii fit to get exercise. I am a hefty overweight mommy and I would love to get healthier and lose weight so I can have a better life with my children and keep up with running after my toddler and soon to be toddler. I also recently joined wii fit mommiies and I would need one of these to participate and they are no where to be found right now 🙁 So winning this would be a blessing for me.

  286. I would love to win this. Not only for my 9 year old who really, really wants one, but for myself. I’d love to be able to lose some pounds while at home! I can’t afford a gym membership, plus the daycare for my daughter. I SWEAR I’d workout everyday…and post updates on my blog!

    [email protected]

  287. My wife prefers to exercise indoors, but I would rather take a walk outside than do aerobics indoors. The Wii and Wii Fit would give me a reason to move indoors and enjoy it too!

  288. Since the birth of my second baby, it has taken nothing short of a miracle to get me out the door and to the gym for a workout. 99% of my workouts are now at home, usually on the treadmill…which is getting REALLY old! I’ve had my eye on the wii fit since it came out. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Seriously!

  289. I also added a link to my fitness blog…www.fitmepink.blogspot.com (a post scheduled to publish early tomorrow morning)!

  290. I would love to win this so I can lose the baby belly and get in shape. My family would also be able to get regular exercise and family fun.

  293. I would LOVE to win the Wii and Wii fit. I have recently sold my elliptical to make more room in the play room (aka. first floor of our SMALL townhouse). I needed an extra space for the kids to play during the winter. I would love to have an alternative to exercising and not have to leave the house.

  294. I would LOVE to win a Wii and Wii Fit. it would be a good way to get the whole family in shape.

  295. I used to be a complete workout-aholic (literally a few hours a day), but then had our first baby almost 17 months ago. I still have 15 pounds to lose, and I could try to go run the pounds off but there is one tiny problem – my son is SUPER clingy and won’t let me even put him in a stroller long enough for me to do so. And he never has had a babysitter because of this issue. So, my exercise has to be indoors when he’s asleep or playing near me 10 feet away. This would be perfect for me because I am utterly desperate to exercise again!

  296. I included it in my blog on the right upper corner at http://www.thekitefamily.blogspot.com.

  298. I had a baby boy 4 months back and unfortunately I still look more than 4 months pregnant. I would love love to do some exercising at home while I can keep an eye on him. Oh and my daughter wants Wii Fit badly too…she is only 7 but still needs to exercise right? Doesn’t get much of it in this weather.

  299. Its been 4 years since I had my child. I think I quit working out the day I got pregnant. Its a sad excuse, but life has taken over. I am really really interested in getting back on track. Four years is not really much of an excuse anymore, its just a bad example. The great thing is, my 4 year old can be my work out/play buddy!!
Heres to good karma and winning a new lease on a healthier life,

  301. I’m dieing to have a Wii Fit party with my girlfriends! Plus I want to get my kids more active just for the fun of it.

  302. Tweeted about the contest here:

  304. I just had my little one this past summer and I am dying to get back in shape. I am a SAHM so going to the gym really isn’t an option. I would love to win this to get back in shape. Thanks

  305. WHY? Oh, where do I start?

    *Stuck inside, need exercise.
    *LOVE THE CONCEPT!
*Need something wicked fun for when we DO get our kids placed with us!

  308. Alright, I hit ya on the biz twitter account for the last entry.

    http://twitter.com/wahmchats/statuses/1061976161

  309. I need some activity for the long winter months, and something that is more fun than my treadmill.

  310. With a wii fit I could finally be both wee and fit, instead of not-so-wee or not-so-fit.

  311. Both my husband and I are overweight and we don’t exercise enough. Well…ok…we don’t exercise ANY!!! I’ve been seeing the Wii and the WiiFit and it looks so neat. Who would have thought that you could lose weight playing a video game but with this you can. Plus since my hubby is 23 years older than I am, he’s never really been into video games and this would be great for him!!!

  312. Link is post on my blog — I hope I win this!!!

  313. Second entry — The bowling looks so neat on the Wii!!

  314. I want to win this because I really need to brush up on “Standing on One Leg” or “Standing on my Other Leg” skills. Plus I’m rusty at Hula-Hooping so I’ll use it to work on that.
    http://katie.karrmedia.com
    katiekarr at gmail dot com

  315. Third entry — Maybe I would learn to play tennis if I won this!!!

  316. I have the Wii and Wii fit and LOVE IT!! My mother-in-law would like one! So if I win, I can give it to her and then I would be the favorite daughter-in-law!!

  317. Fourth entry — The Wii Fit records your BMI…not sure I want to know that.

  318. Fifth entry — I really want to win this!!!

  319. We’d love a Wii and especially a Wii Fit. Who wouldn’t? It would be perfect for snowy days like today, when going outside for some exercise just isn’t an option.

  320. So after my ego was CRUSHED by Nintendo’s denial (I BEGGED to be a Brand Enthusiast), I was also denied it as my Christmas gift request because we’re B-R-O-K-E. Apparently, credit companies ACTUALLY expect to be paid, and rumor has it our medical student living expense loans are drying up in this economy.
Sooooo, if you see me in skimpy clothes on a street corner with a butt WAAAAAY too big to pick anyone up, just smile and wave…and have pity. Then, give me the Wii Fit. At least it’ll help with the butt problem!
In all seriousness (in case you didn’t buy my above sob story, most of which was entirely true!), I am really trying to firm up the girls who live upstairs (above the belt) so they’ll stop imposing on the neighbors living downstairs. I’d also LOVE to get rid of the mudslide that happened after my c-section.
PLEASE HAVE MERCY ON MY PATHETIC, NINTENDO-LOYAL-BUT-BRAND-ENTHUSIAST-REJECTED-SELF.

  321. Our son came home from college and sold his wii, something his dad and I had been enjoying so much since he left, well, the wii and the fact that he was out of the house 🙂 Now we are wii-less and so sad because we cannot afford another one! Please help us!
    http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=625776968&ref=profile#/profile.php?id=625776968&ref=profile&pub=2915120374

  322. I don’t want a regular video game system because we would just be sitting on our butts playing-I love the fact that this is an activity filled and movement motivated gaming system! It would actually be FUN to get moving! Thanks!

  323. Oh!! Pick ME!! I wanna win so I can lose those last pounds that I’m trying to get off!
    Ok…I confess…it’s a few more then a few…
    Hey! Don’t judge me! LOL!

  324. I need to get in shape.

No really, I need to get in shape. My back was out from lifting a car seat…a car seat! I’m a mother of 3 children, 6 and under with the 6 year old having special needs. Of course, we get into ‘struggles’ where I need to sometimes lift his 52 lb body and carry him up stairs. Remember the back. Yea. That’s why I need to win Wii Fit!

    http://twitter.com/MiaHysteria/status/1062199232
Oh, plus my hubby still thinks I’m sexy…I should prove him right – or get him glasses.

  325. #2, yea. Still need to win it.

My back is aching. Ohhhh, my aching back. Wiifit, where are you!?!?!?

    http://twitter.com/MiaHysteria/status/1062199232

  326. After having my 2nd child earlier this year I really need to get back in shape. The WiiFit and Wii would help get me motivated and it would be fun to have my older daughter follow along. Thanks ever so much!

  327. Oh. And I never win anything. ANYTHING!

If I went on Deal or No Deal, I’d hit ‘no deal’ too many times and walk out with enough to go and get fast food….which brings me back to why I need the wiifit.

    http://twitter.com/MiaHysteria/status/1062199232

  328. And if you didn’t notice, I submitted my favorite recipe for cookies. Oatmeal Scotchies. They are SO good….

and they’re most of the reason why I need wiifit.

    http://twitter.com/MiaHysteria/status/1062199232

  329. Okay, my last one.

My last reason I need to win the wiifit….

To quite my complaining about why I should win.

    http://twitter.com/MiaHysteria/status/1062199232

  330. My comment about tweeting it didn’t show. Hmmm…a conspiracy to keep me from winning.

    http://twitter.com/Dewgin/status/1062198479

  331. I tried Wii Fit at BlogHer this past July and really enjoyed it. What a fun way to stay fit! I’m expecting baby #2 in March and I’d love to have this Wii around to help me get back into shape quick! 🙂

  332. I blogged about this giveaway as part of my Tuesday Tours column: http://metropolitanmama.net/2008/12/tuesday-tours-whats-happening-on-the-web-47/.

  333. I’ve got 4 kids and I have gained weight with each one. I have eye’d the wii and wii fit for awhile now but just can’t afford it. This would be one AMAZING prize to win!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the opportunity!

  334. I would love to win the Wii and Wii Fit to get in shape because of the winter weight adding on. Seriously, I don’t need the insulation on my body! Plus, I am giving birth the beginning of Jan., so I would love to work off that baby weight!

Thanks for the chance to win and for hosting an amazing contest!

  337. i would love to win the wii fit to get my butt (and thighs and tummy) back into shape. this would come in especially handy when it’s so dang cold outside and i have no desire to go out walking in it.
thanks for the chance to win! 🙂

  338. well…why i want it. i hesitate, because i too don’t like video games. however, i just had baby #3, 7 weeks ago, and would love the chance to get my belly [and my sexy] back 😉 thank you for the op!

  339. i just tweeted you on twitter. my username is sp82877 🙂 thanks, again!

  340. The Wii Fit systems seems like such a fun way to get fit, especially during these cold winter months. As a busy mom to 5 kids, a game I can turn on after they go to bed, that will be fun aswell as a good workout, sounds perfect to me!

    http://www.thoughtswithchris.blogspot.com

  341. I didn’t realize I could still enter

  342. four

  343. more

  344. times!!!!

  345. I would love a Wii Fit as my life as a teacher and mother does not leave me a lot of time for exercise…the personal trainer function would force me to get off the couch and get some exercise!

  346. I would like a Wii fit because I know we don’t get enough excerise around here and I think it would help. It would entertain as well as keep us healthy.

  347. My husband just finished grad school and will be starting a job soon. Now that we’ll have an income I had big plans to join a fitness club that offers a day care for my toddler. But we were recently notified that we’ve been selected by a birthmother to adopt her baby, who will be born in just a couple of weeks. Great news for our family! Bad news for my work-out intentions. I’d love to win the Wii and Fit so I can get some exercise at home!

  348. I would love to win a Wii Fit for a fun way to keep in shape without leaving the house. I also want to set a good example for my daughters and get them involved in exercise at a young age. I’m sure they would appreciate the Wii as well! Thanks for offering!

  349. I have fibromyalgia and back pproblems that pretty much keep me locked up in my home. I have gained about 80 pounds, hate the way I look, and want to do something, but regular exersize hurts so much. I have tried the Fit, and think I can do this. I just want to feel normal again.Thanx.

  350. I would love to win one for my whole family to keep us all in shape! What a fun way to do it too!
    thanks!

  351. I would *love* to win a wii fit! We actually already have a wii, so if I won that I would give it to a good friend who has been eyeing one for a long time now. A wii fit would be great, though–I’m in the process of (STILL!) losing the weight I put on when pregnant/nursing my son, so this would help on those cold/rainy days when I can’t go outside to work out!

  352. I would love a wii fit to keep me motivated to exercise! Why else? Its too cold for walks, no time for the gym. A personal trainer in my living room Yippee!

  353. I would like to win a Wii Fit, because you make it sound so appealing! 🙂

I really do need to be in better shape, and this sounds like something I might actually *do*! Thanks for offering a great giveaway!

  354. I’m thinking maybe the wii fit would seem more like I’m playing rather than excercising…I need some form of motivation to get my rear in gear! Thank you !!!

  355. All the other kids have Wii Fits. This contest is my only hope to get a Wii Fit and be Wii Fit!

  356. I also posted a link to this on my blog:

    http://myblessedhome.wordpress.com/2008/12/17/a-great-giveaway/

  357. we are cutting back on many things this year, as well as our gym membership, so this would be a great activity to do at home and get some serious exercising in!! We would not normally be able to purchase this so this would be quite a treat!! Thank you so much!

  358. Why do I need a Wii Fit #2:
15 extra baby pounds + clingy baby + canceled gym membership + 2 big needy dogs + snowy weather = no workout + 1 desperate mom

  359. #3 Reason:

Since my husband’s retirement from his professional athletic career in May (due to an injury), he has had no motivation to workout in any fashion. I think this would be a great way for the both of us to have fun together (finally I will be able to workout with him after all these years of separate workouts) and finally motivate him to get off the couch (literally)!

  360. #4:

Because I’ll share! I have plenty of friends who have either just had a baby recently or are about to have one very soon and we will all need to help each other shed those pounds!

  361. I need a wii fit because I am out of shape. I would use this all the time because it is fun.

  362. I twittered the contest.
    http://twitter.com/DreeG

  363. Because it will cheer me up after losing our precious baby in the 2nd trimester back in October, and cheer up my husband who has been down in the dumps and jobless for months now (needless to say, we could never afford something like this). We just need a little holiday cheer our way this year, and a good present to kind-of “give” each other.

  364. Wow, I’ve been trying and trying to lose weight and I’ve heard this is so much fun but way out of our budget right now so winning one would help my entire family!

    Thanks!!

  365. I would love to win this because with a 5 year old and a 1 year old, and 30 lbs still left to lose from the pregnancy, I need something that the whole family can get involved with that will help me with my fitness goals.

    Thanks!!!!

    http://accidentalmommies.com

  366. I would like to become more fit and I think that having a Wii Fit right there in the house would make it easy and fun to exercise.

  367. I would love the wii and wii fit so that my whole family could get in shape and have fun.

  368. I would love to win this because the kids are always playing video games and it would be great for them to get exercise while they were playing them.

  369. I would love to win a Wii Fit to help my husband and I lose some weight. Also, it so great to have a Wii when friends and family come over. Everyone get so excited and so into the games. It’s a wonderful addition to family/friend time. Thanks.

  370. Thank you for considering my entry for a Wii and WiiFit. My husband is currently undergoing physical therapy for a damaged rotator cuff and is doing exercise with the exercise band. In addition, his 75 lb. weight loss seems to be coming back. Because the Wii Fit functions like a scale tracking balance, weight gain/loss, BMI progress and lets you know how you’re doing on your exercise plan is a great incentive. Most importantly, it looks like great fun for both of us.!

  371. This would be a great way to stay in shape when it is too hot to exercise outside. Plus, I know it is fun because I’ve played it!

  372. I had a baby a 13 1/2 months ago. I’ve lost all of the weight, but I could really use a little toning up in the midsection.

  373. I had a baby 9 months ago, I am out of shape and showing it. I used to use my X-Box to keep in shape with Yourself Fitness. It is no longer functioning and I don’t know how I will get outside in the winter to exercise with a baby and 2 other children that I watch. Wii Fit would be perfect for me and my whole family. The children that I take care of would benefit from it as well.

  374. My daughter is dying to try out the Wii Fit, what a great idea. I could certainly use it too.

  375. I’d love my wife to have this. She’s busy homeschooling some of our kids, and in Wisconsin, you can’t get out very much…

  376. I would love to win a wii so my wife and I can do the Wii fit together!

  377. I have to admit. I hate video games. My husband loves them and has the tendency to get easily addicted to them. This means less time for us. So when we got married I banned video game consoles from our house. Then I heard about the Wii and even had the chance to play it at friend’s house and I thought, “Well, maybe just this one.” I’m not breaking down store doors to grab one but if someone gave one to me I surely wouldn’t turn it down. I guess I like the fact that they are more interactive than most other video game consoles.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  378. I’ve been wanting to try out yoga and heard the Wii Fit one is awesome! Plus this is a game system my whole family could enjoy.

  379. I SOOOO NEED this! I need to get my lazy self back in shape before I completely fall apart.

    http://www.thepost-itplace.com

  380. This would be totally awesome! Would love to try some fun new ways to work out and get my kids up off the couch!

  381. I’d like to win this because I’m ridiculously overweight and need to do SOMETHING – anything – to fix that. The Wii Fit could be just the ticket. 🙂

  382. I SOOO need this! I had a baby 8 months ago and was doing well with my weight until my doctors changed some medication I was on- and BOOM… there it was. The weight I had worked so hard to lose. PLEASE oh PLEASE have mercy on me!

  383. I was diagnosed in March with Lupus. Long before the diagnosis, I had to give up on exercise because I was on so much pain and exhausted all the time.

My brother in law has a Wii, and while we were visiting for Thanksgiving, I got on it to play with my 3 kids and had so much fun. It wasn’t even exercise. It was me playing with my kids. Since then I’ve been trying to find thing a Wii, but everywhere in my area has been sold out and not expecting any more until after Christmas.

    http://dragonflykissesbutterflyzoos.blogspot.com/

  384. OH yeah, I just twittered about it- AND I put a little bloggy post about it too.

  385. Hello everyone!
I am a new mommy . I enjoy watching my little one group up. It’s so sweet when she tries to imitate mommy. I’m stuck to her little hips and she’s stuck to my huge ones! LOL. I would love to recieve the Wii system as a gift not only for myself, but for my daughter as well. Through the Wii system, I will be proud and estatic to impliment physical activity into my daily diet. Therefore, when baby see’s mommy getting fit, I hope it will show her the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. It’s never too early to get healthy. Thank you for this opportunity. I will be so grateful for my little one and I. I hope one day that the Wii fit system will help battle the growing obesity epidemic the world is plagued with. I look forward to being a size healthy. Happy hoidays and God Bless!

Happy holidays and God Bless!

  387. I would like to win this for my 11year old. She’s about 30lbs overweight and I think this would be great for her.It would be fun but help her too…

  388. A Wii Fit would let me exercise at home – so I could start working on those extra pounds

  389. 4 babies latter, I am a full time working mom that has no idea what happened to the body I see in the mirror! I am sure that it is not sapose to look this streached and sagging, but who has the time to go to the gym; not me!! I would welcome a Wii fit for the chance to get the image in the mirror to match the image in my brain!!!

  390. So I guess alot of us have had babies! We got our kids a wii for christmas after saving for awhile now!! So having the wii fit for me would be awesome! I have had 5 kids in 7 years and could really use it!! Getting all the baby weight off would be nice!!

  391. My Image is still looking the same as it was a few minutes before so I figure I better try again!!! I really need this!!

  392. Still the same, my magic wishing is not working but maybe a Wii fit will!!!

  393. Ok, I can’t find any magic mirrors to do the work for me guess that leaves the Wii fit, maybe my 4 babies will use it with me!!!

  394. I could write how I’m still looking to shed some baby weight … which I am … but that’s not the real reason. I could write how I have fallen off my yoga routine, miss it and want to get back into it … but that’s not the real reason. I could write about how tight money is for us, that a gym membership is a pipe dream and this would help … but that’s not it either. I could write about how I really want to get into shape to have the stamina to keep up with the little one … but that’s not even the real reason. The REAL reason is the Wii makes exercising so FUN that it’s something hubby and I can do TOGETHER. This little system actually has the potential to create more family time … with the added benefit of getting in shape … right in our family room! :o)

  395. This would be a wonderful prize! My husband and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary and have come to realize we’ve really packed on the “marriage” weight! Getting back in shape would really be great for chasing around our active little son!

  396. I would love the chance to win the Wii and Wii Fit! because I broke my neck some time back and I was told it could help my range of motion

  397. As a result of pay cutback we’re probably going to have to forgo our Y membership for awhile. I have little motivation to work out at home but this might just help in that department.

  398. I’ve been wanting a Wii Fit forever and I can’t find one anywhere. I’m always a few mins too late or something. I’m a SAHM to a 2 year old and I desperately need to find something to do to get about 75 lbs off me so I think it would be great to do it this way! As I said I’m a SAHM so I can’t afford a gym membership and always can get a workout in while the LO is napping. I’m Posting it to twitter,my blog at boosplace.vox.com,my friendfeed,my facebook, and my tumblr so please check me out my friend feed and tumblr is also under the name ezziriah and my face book is under [email protected] so look me up! I hope i win I really would be so happy to win!

  399. I’ve blogged your contest here…

    http://likeabrook.blogspot.com/2008/12/wii-fit.html

  400. I’d love a WII with a Wii fit ~~I need all the help I can get!

  401. I need to Wii Fit to get in shape! I need to lose this 3 y/o baby weight!

  402. I so need one of these since it has been so called outside and am needing some exercise. My poor house is way to small for exercise equipment. So add my name to the hat

    thanks

  403. I would love to win this. I would include my whole family in it. Thanks so much for the chance.

  404. I like running but find it hard to get motivated when the temperature drops. Wii Fit would be a great way to get in a workout, especially on cold days.

  405. Well like all other 8 hundred and 5 people I would love a Wii…I would love to work out. I would like to be able to do anything better for my body in the 5 minutes my son pretends to nap! hahaha! I am now a stay at home mom and love it but have no extra money to spend on stuff like a gym membership! This would the perfect alternative! behttp://www.facebook.com/home.php#/home.php?ref=home

  406. Why not write one more time….just inn case it helps. I do not have any story that’s better than the rest, I would just love to have one! Thanks

  407. I would love to have a Wii Fit so I can impress my husband who is 8 years younger than me. Also, I have entered other contests to win but so far I haven’t won. I hate to beg…

  408. I would love to win a Wii/fit!

  409. I would love to win a Wii fit because I struggle with Asthma that makes it too difficult to exercise outside if it is too hot, humid or too cold outside. I can’t afford a gym membership, but I’d really love to be more healthy and active, and the Wii fit would give me that chance. I’d also really love to get my family in on the fitness game, and a game version might just do it!

  410. A Wii of my VERY own! You mean I wouldn’t have to borrow the neighbor’s when I decide to have the kids’ friends over? Woo-hoo! That would be AWESOME!

    http://mamabird.vox.com/
    The Mama

  411. I would love to win this because my husband just bought these with our credit card for Christmas 😮

  413. I would love the Wii fit. I really need to exercise and this looks like fun as well as exercise. I have hear so much about the Wii, and would really love to have one.

  414. Hitting 45+ and taking medication that slows metabolism is a mixture for adding pounds. It doesn’t hurt that I blog and twitter, sitting still, some of the day. Exercise is great for living but also releases chemicals in the body to help boost mood levels! I need all the benefits of Wii Fit! I wrote a twitter comment about this contest. Let me know if I win! http:// Lindylou-abbott.blogspot.com

  415. A Free Wii would make my Year!

  416. A Wii to put in the game room – huh – that would actually make it a – well, – game room!

  417. A Wii would help in the “fun” department for our house.

  418. Any encouragement in the “being active” department will be welcome!

  419. Send it my way!! Me, me, – ooo, oo – pick me!

  420. Um, this would be really really nice! It’s hard for me to get to the gym because my son always has a cold and can’t go to the daycare there. This way I could do it at home!
Plus, my hubby has been drooling over the Wii since it came out! 😉

  421. I’m about halfway through an expected 100-pound weight loss. I’d like the Wii Fit tokeep myself motivated so I can eventually be one of those people who gets to tell her inspiring story of losing 100 pounds and keeping it off. In other words, I’d like my perspiration to be someone else’s inspiration. But whoever wins, thanks for your generous spirit!

  422. Talk about having to lose the extra baby weight!! Nine months ago I gave birth to a 9 lb. baby girl; Megan Elizabeth. I gained 55 lbs. during my pregnancy. Winning a Wii Fit would be great way to work off that extra baby fat; But the real reason I would like to WIN the Wii Fit so I could give it to a teacher I used to work with that also had a baby this year.

  423. I would love a wii and wii fit to get fit for my new life. You see my husband lost his job and had to take one in another state, I would love to loose some weight for my new life and to be healthy for my children. I want to reinvent myself and I think wii will be a huge help for my self esteem.

    http://www.juicyalligator.com/juicy-blog.html

  450. I would love to win this because my whole family needs to get in better shape and this would make it more fun. We really struggle with motivation, but everyone loves a video game!

  451. my fourth entry

  452. my fifth entry!

    http://kevnjacks.blogspot.com

  463. I’ve been trying to encourage my 8yo to get more physical activity in his life, but all he wants to do is read (I know, what every mom wouldn’t do to have a bookworm like mine). If I told him he could play video games after school, it might be enough incentive to actually get up and move!

  464. I tweeted your giveaway! http://twitter.com/delora

  466. My work is having our own version of The Biggest Loser contest. I have lost 9 pounds so far but we have until April. This would be such a blessing and so much fun!! Thanks for the chance.

  467. I have heard that wii fit is an excellent work-out and I really need to lose weight for my health and so I can continue to be healthy for all of my little and big children. I can’t just leave my little ones during the day to go jogging or even for a walk, so being able to exercise inside in a way that isn’t boring would be ideal for me. Thanks.

  468. I would love a WII and WII Fit – I have been wanting one for a while – just can not afford it yet. I had weight loss surgery in August and really want to start exercising. Thank you for this opportunity.

  469. Wow! All of these comments are overwhelming!! I love spending time with my family and think a Wii fit would be a fun way to bring the family closer together. We have been getting dumped on with tons of snow and need something fun and adventurous to do indoors! I would love to win! I’m going to blog about it as well…kimberlyanddevon.blogspot.com

  470. It’s too cold outside so I could use the Wii to excercise indoors.

  471. I have 3 grandaughters that think we are living in the stone age because we have no video games. the Wii looks it.s something we could enjoy with them.

  472. My family would LOVE a Wii. It would be such a blessing especially with my husband being off work with no income for the past 2 1/2 months. We are thankful for his new job but it’s going to take some time to get caught up.
We have started eating healthier but need a fun way to get some exercise as well as a guaranteed way to have family fun! 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  477. Boy howdy, I want to win this give-away. My odds are slim and my luck is bad but it’s worth having hope. Is it bad to want a wii so your kids will think you are the coolest mom on the block? The hubs thinks that we need a new tv before we get a wii and lets face it a new tv is too much dinero right now. This is my chance to prove my hubs wrong and win back my coolness. 🙂

  478. Oops! I forgot to leave my blog
    http://www.sarah-stephens.blogspot.com

  479. I wanted to buy one for my husband this year for Christmas but I can not seem to get my hands on one. I am always 5 minutes too late. Life story :(! So, no Wii for me unless of course I win one here.

  480. Between moving, and taking the kids to school and back, I have no time to work out. I would love to try the WiiFit to work out, and get back in shape for the new year.

Thanks for the chance to win.

  481. thank you for the extra chances

  482. and this one!

  483. last but not least… awesome opportunity!!

  484. I started making exercise a regular part of my life several months ago. My goal was to have a lifestyle change. I currently have lost 20lbs and still have 30lbs to go. This would be so amazing to have something to help me remain consistant and stick to my goal. What a fun giveaway. Thank you.

  485. I would love to hula hoop at home with out my girls ‘helping’ by grabing the hulahoop. Also I have always wanted to try yoga but have never been brave enough or had someone to watch my girls so I could go

  486. I hate going outside, and that makes exercise difficult, and not fun. I want a Wii Fit so that I can get a FUN workout without going outside (where it would not be fun) so that I will actually continue to work out and lose weight.

  487. I have a few people in my family I would want to give the system to. My sister in law has had a tough year marriage wise. My grandmother has a shoulder injury and could use the Wii as part of physical therapy. My mom needs to strength train and improve her flexibility for the breast cancer walks she does. It would be a really tough choice!

  488. wow! over 550 comments. what are my chances of winning?

i left a comment earlier but wanted to let you know i wrote about the give-away on my blog (http://sunshine-on-my-shoulders.blogspot.com/2008/12/random.html) and twittered it, too (http://twitter.com/sunshine4me)

    thanks again =)

  489. A Wii is the first game system that got past my “I’m nover getting a game system” attitude. They are pretty cool.
It would be cool to have a Wii fit and be able to work out more at home.

  490. I’ve been pudgy most of my life and I’d like my husband to see what I really look like. I’m too young to be carrying this weight around. And the Wii makes exercise not seem like exercise, which would definitely motivate me so much more!

  491. I want a Wii and Wii Fit to be able to exercise more. I live in a bad neighborhood and don’t feel safe exercising outside so with the Wii Fit I could get back to exercising again.

  492. Our family would love a Wii! We just played it for the first time at a friend’s and I was so surprised at how fun it was. I was also embarassed at how sore my arm was after playing tennis. I think the Wii fit was my favorite and was impressed that my husband exercised too. I think it would help us find time to exercise on a regular basis and encourage our kids to do so as well!

  493. I have heard so much about this game system and how it actually helps people stay fit…I have lost 50 pounds this past year with dieting alone, but now need to add exercise to the equation to keep losing the additional weight I still need to lose. I HATE exercising, but maybe this system would make it fun for me. I’d love to give it a try!

  494. I really need to find a workout that excites me. In the past year I have seriously slumped off on exercise and have extra weight to lose. Thanks for the chance!

BTW, contest ends on my birthday (and my DHs birthday and our anniversary)!

  495. We are all a bit chubby these days and could use a good workout that does not involve venturing out into the frozen wilderness of Ohio.

  496. My friend just had gastric bypass on Dec 9th, and the next day had to have emergency surgery to close a perforation in the pouch, she was in REALLY bad shape, she could have lost her life, and I want to get fit and healthy like she will be! she owns a Wii and Wii fit already, and I want to keep up with her and lose my 70 pounds I want to lose!! Her surgery reminded me of how we need to stay healthy and fit so we dont have to go to such drastic measures to maintain our weight! This would mean so much to me!!

  497. I am lucky enough to have a Wii and WiiFit already. I have really horrible balance issues from 4 brain tumor surgeries. The Wii fit is a godsend for balance and we all have so much fun playing all the games. So, I will donate it if we win to the Children’s Hospital in Aurora. Such a fabulous place, the children there are so amazing and they have fantastic play rooms and could use it for PT as well!

  498. Oh, wow – I’d love to win a WiiFit because I think it would be a fun way to incorporate exercise for the whole family. Does that sound too much like an ad line?? :o) Actually, I had a gastric bypass 3 years ago, and while it helped me lose my excess weight and I’ve kept it off, my doctor has really been after me to exercise to help keep the weight off. I’ve got a treadmill that stands in my bedroom, but I think a WiiFit would be WAY more fun! Great giveaway – thanks for offering it!

  499. I need a Wii Fit because my daughter screams bloody murder at the gym babysitting and so I gave up and need to work out. This would be great since I could stay home and do it.

I posted about this on my blog.
    http://www.stitchesandscissors.com

  500. I’d give the Wii to my sister. She has Down Syndrome and has lost 40 pounds with Weight Watchers and kept it off! She loves to play games and this would be the exercise she needs with the fun we are all looking for.

  501. I live in the frozen north and getting outside to exercise is difficult if not impossible. I would love to have the Wii Fit to help maintain my weight and help my family be more fit.

  502. Irt would help me do more aerobics and get into better shape. Have wanted a Wii for almost two years

  503. We don’t get near enough exercise in the winter. This would help with that immensely. Thanks.

  504. okay…my son is 2 months old now and my two yr old won’t let me work out with the exercise videos(she prefers to climb me instead:) i would really like to get back in shape and i think the graphics of the wii fit would be distracting enough that she might join me and have some fun and i could actually get a workout in:) thanks!

  505. I would LOVE a wii fit! I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 26 and am happy to say I’ve been cancer free for 6 years. But my health is at the TOP of my list! I’m always trying to find new ways to work out and stay in shape and this sounds perfect!!! Studies have shown women who exercise can decrease their recurrence rate by 40%!! That’s huge! So I’m SUPER motivated!! Help keep me in shape with a WII !!!! Thanks!!

  506. I’ve been dying for a Wii – not only because they look super awesome, but because I would totally play a video game (which my fiance loves) and I wouldn’t have to play grand theft auto. 🙂 I’m hoping to get him off his computer. 🙂

    http://aimee-enchalada.blogspot.com

  507. i want to win this b/c i am fat and want to lose weight and have fun too

  508. After much deliberation on my part, Santa is bringing us a Wii this year. My DH is beyond excited, and I’m sure my kids will love it. I’m not a video game player, but the Wii Fit sounds very fun. And a virtual personal trainer might be just what I need to stick with it and finally get in shape. :o)

  509. I want a Wii fit so I can spread the WII love…

I love this system and the game (even more so know that the balance board is compatible with other games!)

My kids love this system as well and it’s great for bringing the family closer.

  510. I want a Wii fit so I can spread the WII love…

I know a very deserving person who I would like to give this to. She gives me hope as a human race, and her love for a child she has yet to find is so obvious.

    http://raw-and-healthy-eating.blogspot.com/2008/12/im-backand-trying-to-win-wii.html

  511. Honestly, I don’t know if I’d want one of these things in my home or not. I’ve got enough reasons NOT to leave the house already. I just came here because I saw so many links to the post. 🙂

I’m thinking that I’m too much of a luddite to get my exercise by video gaming…

  512. I need one because I have a daughter that screams bloody murder when I drop her off at the gym babysitting, so I canceled it. I need to be able to work out at home and this would the best way.

I posted about the giveaway at my site:
    http://www.stitchesandscissors.com

  513. Back in August I resolved to change my lifestyle and lose at least 100 lbs. I’ve made some positive changes in my eating but the exercise thing is very difficult for me. I’ve lost 12 lbs so far but it’s very slow going. Having a fun way to spice up my exercise routines would help a lot. I’ve entered every Wii contest I’ve come across and haven’t been lucky…..yet. 🙂

(Amber I hope you can understand and it doesn’t disqualify me if I don’t enter my real name here.)

  514. A Wii! I want one! I want to win a Wii fit b/c I need to exercise and there are inches of snow outside that discourages me to get out. All the hot chocolate and Christmas cookies I make aren’t helping. I know my family and I would have a blast with this! Thanks for the giveaway!

I posted it on my blog, http://pjmendoza.blogspot.com

  516. Here is my entry #3.

  517. Here is entry #4.

  518. Here is my last entry! THANK YOU!!!

  519. This is the one game/accessory for the Wii that my wife has said she’d actually participate in.

  520. I lost 47lbs this year but have slowed to a grinding halt. I need a Wii Fit to get me motivated to drop those last 25lbs!

    http://www.lori-thenextchapter.blogspot.com

  521. My daughter made the decision to stay home with her young daughter. I am so proud of her for that decision and for the fact that she is losing weight. She wrote on her blog that she want s Wii Fit for Christmas but knows she will not get it now that money is tight. I want to win it for her as I can not afford to buy it for her. Making her dreams come true is my Joy!

  523. I would love to win this to get my butt back in shape! I have twins due in January, and I’ve gained a ton of weight, so say the least!

  524. This seems cool, I may be the only man who wants this… but I hear it’s pretty awesome!

  525. Sweet! Pick me! Pick me! I so need to get back in my workout routine.. this would make it seem like fun instead of a chore!! Everyone is sold out around here, and well, I am too cheap to buy one of course!!

  526. This seems really cool. I would love to win one of these and workout with my mom. She always has an excuse why she won’t work out, but she is super-competitive! This would so work!

  527. This would be great to workout with my mom. She always has an excuse why she won’t…. But, she is very competitive! This would be great!

  528. I work in a daycare all day everyday but the weekends. You think after chasing kids all and putting up with 2 at home I be shedding off the pounds, but I just don’t have the motivation to exercise. If I had a Wii Fit it would get me motivated to exercise and it gives something for me and my boys to do together.

  529. I would love to surprise our family (myself, hubby and 3 little ones) with a Wii fit. My husband is in unpaid ministry and I work full-time to support the family. We seem to barely have enough time in the day to do what needs to get done running a family. My husband and I are clinically obese and want so badly to cultivate activity into our children’s lives so they don’t end up like us. But we just can’t find the time to go to a gym with 3 kids aged 6 and under. Please consider us. We barely make ends meet as it is. We could NEVER afford a Wii fit but have heard how it helps people lose weight and it is fun for the whole family.

  530. Please consider my family for a Wii and Wii Fit. My wife works full time to support us while I am a stay-at-home dad and work with the youth at our church. She works so hard to provide for all of us (our kids are 6, 3 and 9 months). She only sees the kids for 3 hours a day during the week so she is hesitant to go to the gym in the evenings and miss time with them. She is so wiped out from working and taking care of everything that she cherishes her sleep in the morning before work. This Wii fit could really help all of us develop a regular schedule to exercise. We need to make a change or our family will be in trouble. We are both at a high risk for diabetes. Thanks.

  531. I would love one so I could use it for losing weight. I really have a lot to lose. I have heard other people are losing weight with it. Maybe I can too.

  532. I would love to win because at my age (84 years young) it HAS to be fun and easy or you won’t do it. I can’t afford a gym, but you know what they say…use it or lose it, and I am not ready to lose it

  533. I would love a Wii fit as a way to actually exercise without complaints or excuses.

  534. My kids and I would love this, and I bet we’d have to schedule dad time with it too. We are missionaries averaging 1500/month, so we in no way could purchase this. It barely covers our expenses.

  535. I really need something like this! My bum needs a bra soon, unless I do something about my jiggles! I had two babies in two years, and yikes, my body is FLABBY and SAGGY! I am only 34, so this makes me really sad to be this way 🙁 I would love to win this, thanks for the consideration!

  536. Put your link on my website! Here it is: http://shopwithme.doodlekit.com/contact

  537. Im 31 and have 3 daughters and 1 on the way…..i need a fun way to lose my weight in the conveinance of my home as i am 210 #..this would be awsome way to be fit with the family

  538. I would like one because my I tried Wii bowling and karate and had so much fun. I know this would give me the encentive I need to keep fit this winter!

  539. I am 18 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and dance dance revolution helped put me in labor with round 1, and I can think of nothing more fun to put me in labor with this baby (seriously, nothing:)This would be a MUCH more fun way to lose the weight after the baby as well. Plus, we use infertility treatments to get pregnant and just got hit with another monster bill…I could never justify the purchase. Thanks for the opportunity!

  543. Still trying to loose the tummy since the birth of my daughter. Would love the Wii to get rid of it for good! 🙂

  544. I desperately need something to get me moving to lose some weight and tone up. Winters are cold here, so an indoor exercise would be awesome! I’ve heard terrific things about the Wii Fit.

    Thanks! 😀

  545. Because my 2 kids work hard get awesome grades don’t get into trouble, deserve a awesome gift this fantastic prize.

    Merry Holiday Season

  546. I would love some thing where I could stay at home and get the job done while still having fun with my kids! As a mother of 3 girls I am a huge rolemodel and what a better way than a Wii Fit for a life changing expierence!…So Ready! St. Louis, MO 12/18/08 12:20am

  547. oops! reference above! So Ready! St. Louis, MO

  548. It’s freezing outside and I don’t have the time to waste driving to the gym, but man could I use a little yoga time! Maybe with the Wii fit my three boys would do a little more yoga with me instead of playing london bridges everytime I fold over into down-dog. . . maybe not, but I’m ready to try!

  549. I just really need to lose those extra pounds!

  550. I have enjoyed our Wii so much (since my kids got it last Christmas). I have wanted to try the Wii Fit since it came out. I think it would be a really fun way to try to get in shape (although I’ve heard it’s pretty ruthless! Maybe that’s what I need!)

  551. I’ve put you on my facebook
    http://www.facebook.com/home.php?

  552. I’ve posted about you on Twitter (name mtejen)

  553. I would love to have a Wii and Wii Fit. I am so out of shape and would love to be able to play with my 22 month old DS without getting so winded!

  554. I have been struggling to lose the rest of the baby weight that I gained with my daughter. It’s been almost 2 years now, and I would really like to be more fit by her second birthday party. I always lack the motivation to excercise and I feel like if I had a Wii Fit, I would enjoy the interaction so much more. I’ve been desperate to win one of these for over a year, so I have my fingers crossed! Thanks so much for the chance!

  555. I love video games! This would be an added bonus to win a wii/fit and get into shape too!

  556. I am a diabetic and I injured my knee in August. I just had surgery over Thanksgiving and am now ready to begin an exercise program again. I need help to get back in shape and this would be a wonderful and fun solution!

  557. [email protected]

Hi, I am a 26 year old first time mom who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl two months before my due date. I have gained alot of weight during my pregnancy and while I am at home taking care of my baby and going back and forth to the doctor with her. The only thing I would love for Christmas and to start the new year off right is to win the Wii Fit. I know it will help me lose the weight and get back the confidence I once had before my pregnancy. I pray that I win and have the chance to be healthy and fit as my child gets older. Thanks so much for the chance.

  558. i started going to the gym a year ago and through hard work i’ve lost 20 pounds. i have more to go, but i can’t justify gym costs any longer. this would so help me…walking the neighborhood just isn’t doing it for me…i need REAL workouts. i’ll post about this here. http://www.tallgrassprairiestudio.blogspot.com.

  559. I am mother of five I have a teenage daughter and two sets of twins the younger set is only three months and I home school the older twins i don’t get out much so exercise is something that kind of goes out the window somtimes I think having a wii would help motivate me to be more active pluse my children would love it also i could make it part of our day gym mabey i really need some type of excitment in my life!!!So pleaseeeeeeeeeee pick meeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

  560. I would like to win this so that I could give it to my neighbor’s children.

  561. I dont have time to work out. I had a hard labor c seaction blood tranfussion and i just started to work out and my son is one and would love to lose the last baby weight. my husband gained alot of weight withme and we are trying to lose the weight …

  562. I really want to be able to work out at home. I have an 18 month old and it is very difficult to get to the gym. I stay home with him all of the time so he is not really accustomed to being left with anyone. I used to run and be in pretty decent shape before I had my son so I am really disappointed with my infrequent exercise routine. I want this baby belly to go away and I really want to get healthy so we can try for another baby so we can try for #2 in 2009. I don’t want to go into the next pregnancy with this extra weight. It would be unhealthy for me and the baby. I’ve tried with WW without a lot of success! Thanks for an awesome contest!

  565. I’d love to receive a Wii Fit……may daughter is getting married next summer and I need to get in shape.

  566. I really really really really want this … I have heard so many great things about it. Because we have 6 kids to buy for for Christmas we can not afford to purchase this right now. Oh what a wonderful Christmas this would be for me if I won this…I need to lose weight and the only way for me to do it exercise and from what I have heard Wii fit is the way to go,
    thanks for the opportunity!

  567. Living in Minnesota and staying fit this winter has already been an extreme challenge. If I won the Wii Fit I would not have to take the chance of breaking my neck out walking on the slippery roads (like yesterday and today).

  568. WOW I sure need one of these doo-dads. I’ve been trying to loose 5 lbs for 3 months … WII fit would help me I’m sure. Thanks.

  569. I would actually like to give this to my sister. She has 2 babies under 2. She has been working really hard to get back into shape.

  570. I would dearly love to win this, and I’ll tell you why. We have out tv in the family room, and there is a lot of room in front of the tv for me to work out. I have let myself get tooooo heavy, and this would be a fun way to get back into shape.

  571. I would love to win this because it may just be the incentive I need to get motivated. Can get a workout but not have to go out to the gym and have everyone looking at you. You know how those beautiful gym people can be. lol 🙂

  572. http://dianarambles.com

I would LOVE to win this so that our family could enjoy being fit together. It is difficult to get out and exercise in the winter, so this would help us to get in shape.

  573. I stumbled this giveaway. ID; Freestylemama

  574. I need this wii fit ! just stopped smoking and gained whopping 10 pounds Now i’m addicted to sugar!

  575. I have a Wii and love itBut I do want the Wii Fit.

I am entering this giveaway for my dear friend Caryn at Rockin Mama. She has been such an influencial blogger for me and I know how much she would love to win. If I won I would have it sent to her. She really deserves it

  576. With a new baby, by the time I pay for childcare I can no longer afford the gym. With the Wii i can stay active and stave off depression this winter while he naps (fingers crossed) without the extra cost.

  577. I would like a Wii fit more for my girlfriend and her two children, than for myself. She’s been wondering when she’ll have time to go to the gym these past few months, but there’s not a horizon in site for her chances, it seems. With a Wii and Wii fit she’d be able to exercise WITH the kids, and there’s no better option than that. Thanks for giving us a chance at winning one of these because they’re hard to come by these days.

    Happy Holidays!

  578. I plurk’d about it here… http://www.plurk.com/p/awf2k

  579. I would love to get this! I would probably give it to my parents! So it can keep them active!

  580. I would love to get this! I would probably give it to my parents! So it can keep them active!

  581. I would love to get this! I would probably give it to my parents! So it can keep them active!

  582. I used to work out with my hubby but now he works nights as a police offer and it is just not the same to work out alone. A Wii fit would allow me to keep a healthy lifestyle in the comfort of my home and maybe even get hubby to do it with me for fun.

  583. my son is 10 months old… which means I am 10 months post preg…and its high time I get myself back in shape… i am so unmotivated with these cold chicago winters!!!

  584. I gained 15 lbs after I quit smoking.
I could sure use something different to jazz up my workouts!.

  585. My daughter is overweight but loves gaming my husband is disabled and loves gaming I think this would get them moving in the right direction for sure.

  586. I would love to have a wii and the wii fit to help my husband and I get in shape. We just got married in August and already have a baby on the way this June. I think it would be a great way for us to do something healthy together that can also be done inside (it rains alot in Oregon!) And help me out with the baby weight after the baby comes.
Also, since my husband got laid off of his job a few months ago he has been having a hard time, and I think that something like this would really cheer him up!

  587. I am so glad I found this contest. I really need a Wii. Why? Because I am fat and over 40. It’s too cold to exercise outside in Ohio this time of year. You can come visit me at my blog at http://www.chamomile-tea.blogspot.com or at http://www.winsweetstuff.com.

  588. I have long loved my brother’s Wii and am looking forward to traveling down to his house for Christmas so we can have our Annual Family Bowling tournament. I need to get my own Wii so I can hone my skills and actually win that bowling tournament! 😉

  589. We need this WII so we can stay fit for the winter….we’ve become bears with all this cold weather!

  590. I am happy I found your contest. I would love the wii and wii fit. With a daughter in college and two sons in hight school its time to try to get in shape. Since 2002 I have been uable to work due to a medical condition call POTS. So getting out and excerising is not a option. I am now in physical theraphy and I think the wii fit would really help me lose weight and feel better. We have been searching for one but unfortunalty no luck. Hopefully this will be my lucky entry.

  591. My wife works out daily and is always looking for a different video or workout routine. I think the Wii fit is something she would enjoy while the kids would just enjoy playing games.

  592. comment #2 ok, so i need to lose baby weight…my oldest is 19…maybe it’s about time. blogged about you here http://tallgrassprairiestudio.blogspot.com/2008/12/its-top.html

ok, fine…no cookies or chips either.
thanks for the chance. it’s been fun!

    .

  596. The only thing my son has ever asked for is the Wii and Wii Fit for Christmas. He played it at his Grandma’s and has talked about it nonstop ever since. He has autism and loves the 2 person run. He “runs” for both people and tries to make them fall down. I love the yoga!

  597. I facebooked the contest, too!

  598. I am the type of person who can’t work out unless it’s fun, but I am a workout alone type of person, so I’ve thought the Wii Fit would be the right thing for me.

  600. I would love to have a WII fit as I have three children ages 6, 2 and 4 months. They would love to play this with me, never have been a big fan of video games but I think the Wii may win me over. Going to tweet on twitter this post.

  601. Wow, the list of reasons. I have a 10 month old son, and it is my third child and the weight is just not coming off with this one.

Also it would be a fun way for my kids to get exercise as well.

It would be awesome for the whole family.

    I tweeted this here: http://twitter.com/tpompa/status/1068393450

  606. I would like to win a Wii Fit because it’s one of those things that I could never afford to buy myself, but that would enrich my life in so many ways.

I’m a single mom of an 11-year-old boy, so this is something that we could enjoy doing together.

I’m also very low-income (I blog about it http://lessthanadime.com ) So have no other options for helping myself to get fit. Walking is about it, and in the winter, with two feet of snow on the ground, that’s not an easy task!

I’d also love to win this to help make up for not being able to give my son anything for Christmas!

  607. I am a Mom and a Grandmother who just got her knees replaced and would like to be able to keep up with everyone and do some backpacking and golfing besides. Having played my son’s WII, I know how much fun it is. By having that in my home as well as the WII fit, I know I would be able to get in shape. Plus when everyone comes home, they will be able to play. As an Americorps VISTA, buying one is way out of my price range. Thank you for this opportunity.

  608. I would like it because I need to lose weight, and have been told it is a fun way of losing weight.

  609. i have 3 childen–the bod is in much need!!!!

  610. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to actually put my stuff on here five times, cause that is kind of obnoxious. Add that to the fact that I already have 2 entries on here and this makes number 3, if I do get 5 for posting on my blog and I don’t add the other ones then I’m really cheating myself, so I’m sorry if this is totally obnoxious, but this is #3.

  611. and then 4

  612. and finally 5. I’ll leave you alone now.

  613. Please, please, pick us! This is one item that all of our family members want for Christmas. We even tried to get one after Thanksgiving at 4 a.m. Our family would use the Wii Fit everyday if we had a Wii.

    Good Luck to everyone!

  614. I would love to win this because I’ve been wanting one for awhile. I think this would be great for my whole family…especially in the winter months when it’s to cold to get outside. Plus, hopefully this would help with the last 15 pounds I want to lose. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  615. I would love a Wii Fit to be able to get a little toned without having to go to the gym. Plus they’re just really fun!

  616. I would love to have this one!

  617. I’ve read some of the comments, and there seem to be many worthy ideas for the giveaway. . . so here goes: I would like to give the Wii system and Wii Fit to my wife. She has been in a slump after giving birth to our child, where she has constant bone and joint issues. The pain is made worse by the cold. She is not a game enthusiast, but enjoyed yoga before pregnancy. I believe the Wii giveaway could help with her recovery and keep her in the warm indoors. I would provide her one if finances permitted, but we are both students, and our priority is our daughter and her needs. Thank you for the opportunity, and good luck to everyone.

  618. I’d love to win a wii fit, because I can’t ever find one to buy.

  619. “Wii”ning a Wii would be a dream come true- I have been a Nintendo fan since childhood, and currently lack the latest and greatest Nintendo Wii (not to mention Wii Fit). It’s increasingly difficult to work out when the weather is as bad as it is here in the midwest, buried under snow! I can’t exercise outside like I normally would, and I feel so achey from lack of exercise. Thanks for the entry and happy holidays!

  620. I would love a wii and wii fit. My husband and I have 5 kids with the youngest being only 3 months old. I was on bedrest for 3 months before our baby was born and definately out of shape. We could all use something to motivate the whole family to exercise and get healthy together as a family. The wii system is a great way to bring the family together to have fun. And that’s what its ALL about!

  621. I would like a Wii Fit because now that it is almost winter I am having a harder time being able to get outside to exercise especially with all the snow. With a Wii Fit though I could get a lot of exercise without having to go outside. That is the main reason why I would like a Wii Fit. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win as I have been wanting to get a Wii Fit for several months now. Thanks.

  622. Well, I want a Wii and Wii Fit for selfish reasons, it is a fun way to get fit and boy do I need to get fit after 3 kids, and for the sheer entertainment of watching my 22 month old play with it (she has played at a friend’s house). It is so funny to watch her giggle as she tries to ski and turns herself into a giant snowball!

  623. I both want and need this because I am past 40 with a first grader of my own, and recently started raising my 2 year old niece too, I’m waaaayyyy unfit and need some motivation!

  624. A Wii Fit would be great so I could loose the weight I gained with my second child born less than 2 months ago. The Wii would allow my 2 year old and me to exercise/play together while being fit.

  625. wow, great prize ! the wii would be such fun foe the whole family and the with the wii fit we all could get the much needed exercise 🙂

    thanx bunches !

  626. I have been trying to locate a Wii Fit for over two months now. They just don’t seem to be available here. The stores say as soon as they come in, they’re sold.

I want a Wii Fit because I believe it will be a fun way to get interactive. I heard about Jillian’s exercise game and since I love her DVD but get bored easily, I felt her game would really keep my interest.

I gained 40 pounds over nine years ago and haven’t been able to stick to an exercise program to lose it. So a Wii Fit would help me and allow me to do something “fun” with my teenagers.

  627. Ok..first I would LOVE to have the Wii/Wii Fit (as posted http://ifnramble.blogspot.com/2008/12/fragment-friday-numero-uno.html ). I have lost 60 lbs this year and really, really need to exercise and tone my muscles (hopefully tighten my skin a little…lol).

  629. I have been wanting the Wii fit for a while now! Would be totally cool to win it! I have been trying really hard to get back into shape. I use to work out every day and run often. This past year has been really stressful for me. Lots of little things adding up. So I quit working out. I love how working out makes me feel. SO much better. I hear fabulous things about the Wii fit! I think it would be perfect motivation to start doing “something” again! Hooray for Wii Fit!

  630. Maybe it could help me lose some weight. I weigh ckose to 300 lbs and need to trim down.

  631. I’ve been enjoying my Wii Fit, and I’d love to give one to my sister.

  632. i want wii fit because i have an exercise routine and this would be a lot of fun to add it.

  633. I would like a wii fit for my son and myself. We are both overweight and need an exercise routine. This would be fun.

  634. I would love a Wii Fit because I work full time outside of the home, so it is just very hard to get to the gym to work out. The Wii Fit would enable me to stay at home and work out!

  635. WOW! What a fabulous giveaway. As a single mom to a preschooler, it would be SO cool to have the Wii & Wii fit so that, perhaps, I could find time to actually GET fit! 🙂

  636. What a great contest, I wish Nintendo would contact me and ask to be a Wii Enthusiast. I’m going to have to start following your blog to see what it is you’re doing to attract attention.

I’d love a Wii Fit for my home because I will be separating from the military next month to stay home with my three wonderful children. I have always been active and would love the chance to stay active while I’m at home. The Wii Fit seems like it would be a perfect addition to the home of any stay at home mom. Plus it will help keep my kids active too!

    Thanks,
    Stacy

  637. I think the Wii fit would really encourage me to do a little yoga every day which is really good for my stress levels.

  638. I would want this to ngive to my mom. She has wanted a wii fit since they came out.

  639. Dear Santa,

I would *love* a Wii Fit. I’ve been a very good girl this year. I could do without all the snow and ice. I really miss riding my bike in the summer. A Wii would let me get a little exercise which this work from home mom desperately needs! Hunched over the computer all day does not a svelte mommy make! Thank you.

    Always,

  646. Why do you think? I am fat, and am too embarressed to work out at a gym in front of those Barbies.

  647. THIS SYSTEM MAKES IT FUN AND EASY TO SLIM DOWN. THANKS.

  648. I’m due in May 2009, and for the first time in years I’m not allowed to run. I think the Wii Fit would give me a great low-impact workout that I can do now AND after the baby comes. Ohh, I hope I win! 🙂 Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  649. i would really like this because i love using my wii for fitness!

  650. I would like to win a Wii to be FIT!

  653. Is it too late? I hope not! I want a Wii Fit so that exercising will be FUN! And so that in losing weight I set a great example for my students. 🙂

  654. I would LOVE a Wii fit to get me started on losing the baby weight after #3 arrives in January, and to help my hubby lose his “sympathy” weight as well. We spent a lot of time at home with our kids, and haven’t been able to fit a gym membership into our time. This would be such a motivating way to get started!

  655. I would love a video game I could actually play with my teenage daughter! And Win!

  656. Finally a healthy video game!

  657. My family has yet to own anything like this! We are behind the times! A Wii and Wii fit would be fantastic, as it would allow our family to enjoy having fun together, playing the Wii and exercising with the Wii fit! I have baby weight to lose, and this would be a great way to do it while having fun! Myson and daughter would love it!

  658. I would love the chance to win the Wii and Wii Fit! Now that the weather is colder snowing as being motivated to exercise outside.

  659. I need it to lose some weight in a fun way, since I am going to Cancun in 2 months. My whole family would enjoy it. Fingers crossed.

  664. Wow!! I truly would love to return to a more fit form after multiple surgeries. This looks like the ideal way to accomplish my goal. Thanks for the great contest.

  665. I would love to win we have wanted one for a few years, i love the new wii fit, i still need to lose the weight from my last pregnancy

  666. I have 2 babies, 16 months and 6 months. I wore a size 2 jeans throughout both pregnancies but I am now in an unknown size but 20 lbs heavier than I started. My 6 month old came 2 months early and after 3 weeks laying in the hospital in ante-partum ward I developed an addiction to peanutbutter M&Ms 🙂
After my son spent weeks in the NICU – postpartum depression had me either not eating for a week or eating nothing but BAGS of M&M’s. Needless to say, I really really would LOVE this wii fit!
