Are we really at the end of summer? Where did it go? I don’t know about anyone else, but I am certain that the swimming pool will be in my weekend plans. I know they will be shutting it down for the winter and I had best get in the last few days of swimming! And beyond swimming – I will be screaming for my favorite team, the University of Colorado Buffaloes (no offense meant for CSU fans).
Labor Day Weekend
This weekend we will also take in all the great festival atmosphere at Taste of Colorado . Nothing says the end of summer like walking around with a turkey leg in your hand bopping to the free entertainment.
If you wanted to get out of town for the weekend, Copper Mountain Resort is hosting the Friday Afternoon Club. Spend $30 you get free tickets to activities like the power quad jump, mini golf, bumper boats and more! That just kids off teh weekend. you can continue in Copper with the Copper Country Festival.

The Outlet Stores at Castle Rock are having the After Dark Labor Day sale on Friday from 8 p.m. to midnight. The sale (obviously) includes great deals - but there will also be prize wheel, music, and games as well!

Kids meals are only $2.00 on Saturdays at Tokyo Joe’s, Dickey’s is running a special for Labor Day weekend (for only $25 you get a family pack which includes choice of 2 meats, 3 sides, 6 rolls and the all important BBQ sauce), with the VIP coupon Boston Market is offering 50% off family meals as well.
Health
Now through September 30, free dental exams for kids at Cornerstar Dental in Aurora, CO and half off for adults. The dental exam includes cleaning, exam and x-rays. (This offer is not valid with insurance copays).
