Denver Deal: Ski Rex, Parade of Homes and Colorado Symphony Orchestra

I spent last weekend in Crested Butte (one of my most favorite places in the state)!  Despite the warm weather and the fantastic sunburn I got, I was thinking about ski season!  My son will be in 5th Grade this year which means he will be eligible for the annual 5th Graders ski for free pass offered!  (6th Graders are eligible also).

Plus, don’t miss the Ski Rex sale coming up on Labor Day weekend at all four Colorado Ski & Golf stores and Boulder Ski Deals.  You can grab all the equipment and gear you need all at a HUGE discount.  You can also get your Epic pass at the sale.  Plus, they have the best deal going on equipment for kids: Junior Trade In:  A complete set of used equipment is available for only $99.99 (includes skis, boots, bindings & safety binding check).  Equipment can be returned the following year by Sept. 30 for just $20 per item (boots and skis).  That means the net cost is only $49.99!  (You can also opt for new or snowboard equipment for just a bit more).

Parade of Homes

The annual Parade of Homes where we get to gawk at the big homes that some people own (and mimic their decorating ideas) is FREE this year!  Now through Labor Day weekend, you can see homes all across town (and in different price ranges) with no tickets to buy!  Don’t worry, you can still see dream homes on the tour!  Visit the website to plan your own tour!

Colorado Symphony Orchestra

Introduce the kids to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra with Buy One Get One (BOGO) tickets!  There are four concerts that are BOGO concerts: Oct. 9 – Marin Alsop Conducts Beethoven, Oct. 28 – Lemony Snicket’s The Composer is Dead (especially for young music lovers); Nov. 5 – Idina Minzel Sings Broadway and Dec. 10 – Colorado Christmas with the Coloradoy Symphony and Chorus, Children’s Chorale and a special visitor from the North Pole!  When ordering use the code: BOGONOW.

 Shakeology!!!

Email your name and address for free samples of Shakeology (first 30 people).  Shakeology is a yummy meal replacement shake, made by Beachbody – the same people that brought you P90X, Insanity, and Turbo Fire.  (If you are interested in hearing more about those programs visit beachbodycoach.com/gretcheny)!
