Colorado is among the first set of 10 states to receive some flexibility from the requirements of No Child Left Behind, White House officials confirmed to The Denver Post this morning.
Colorado applied for the waiver last year, saying in the application they can better handle holding schools accountable from a state level.

It’s no secret I have recently become mango-obsessed so these brand new recipes were like a literal smorgasbord for me with exotic and refreshing flavors. My family’s favorites included the Pineapple Coleslaw (even the kids ate this), Tropical Spinach with Sweet Mango (my favorite), Mango Tropics Muffins and the Sugar Free Kiwi Lime Mousse for dessert.

From July 17-29, choices include: Crunchy Island Pineapple Salad, Penne w/ Chicken in a Citrus Vinaigrette, Curried Rice with Mango Chutney, Island Coconut Chicken & Lime Soup, Creamy Cilantro Lime Pesto and the Wowie Maui Focaccia w/ Ham.
