In this series of blogs, the “Kid Blenders,” I will be addressing our challenges, trying to blend our two families together. The names of the children will be changed to spare the easily embarrassed. And let me be upfront about this: I’m no clinical expert. I’m just a single mom trying to figure life out as I go. But knowing that there are around 14 million single parents out there…I’m guessing that I’m not alone in this venture.

Denver Deals: Quiznos, Del Taco, Starbucks

Once again this week, there are several restaurant deals.  I haven’t found too many deals for Mother’s Day yet, but will update on here as I find them!  Here are a few deals to help you save some cash this week!

Restaurant Deals

Today is Cinco De Mayo which means Del Taco has tacos on sale for $.29 from 3-8p.m.  To make the deal even better, “Like” Del Taco on Facebook and  you’ll be able to print a coupon for a free soft Chicken Taco with any purchase.  Pair the coupon with the special today and you have a cheap meal!

Sunday is Mother’s Day.  Denny’s is offering free a free pancake puppies sundae when you create a card to send her.  Remember, they have their $2, $4, $6, $8 Menu that allows you to feed your family for a great price!

Quiznos has started offering a free kids meal with an adult purchase!  Plus, they have these printable coupons available:

  • Free Chips & Drink with the purchase of a Regular Sub, Large Sub, or Chopped Salad
  • Regular Chopped Salad and a regular fountain drink for $5.99

Starting May 7th until May 16th, Starbucks is offering their NEW Frappuccino’s at Half Off during Happy Hour(3p.m.-5p.m.).

Grocery Deals

If you’re a fan of Libby’s canned vegetables, you’ll be excited to get a free can!  “Like” Libby’s on Facebook to receive your free can of veggies!(note, the site was really slow this morning-hopefully it speeds up!)
