Kids in the City! Pajama Brunch at Second Home – Enter to WIN!

This is one heck of a clever idea for kids in the city on a Sunday morning, especially if you have early risers. The Pajama Brunch at Second Home located inside the JW Marriott Denver in Cherry Creek is a real gem of an activity for the urban child. Cherry Creek is known for its shopping and restaurants, so embrace the culture and bring the family to this spectacular Sunday brunch. The kids can play and you can enjoy a killer meal.

To start with, kids should come dressed in their jammies—children under 8-years-old will eat for free! Let the wee ones have fun and wear their footies. Second Home is transformed into a pajama party and they will fit right in. The waitresses, hosts, chefs and even bartenders are in their pajamas. There are pillows and other nighttime accruement throughout the entire restaurant.

Second, mom or dad and adults should come thirsty for one of the best Bloody Mary bars in town. They even have a tomatillo mix that blends well with Tequila. Yes, it qualifies as a breakfast beverage and isn’t shameful at all! Don’t worry about taking your time picking out bloody Mary spices and veggies. The wee ones can run off to Second Home’s “den” in the restaurant.

The “den” is the chic children’s spot for the morning—a classy kid’s lounge with movies, beanbag chairs, tables and chairs, coloring and to top it off—a kids buffet! Children can order their entrees and come into the den to accessorize their waffles, get fresh fruit, juice and snack on all the goodies prepared by the kitchen. Oh, the best part, the hostess is stationed in the den for the entire brunch to supervise and help children with their food and coloring. Really, it makes brunch that much more enjoyable.

The kids get their time and the adults can enjoy their cocktails and the amazing dishes such as Graceland Pancakes, Bread Pudding French Toast, Eggs and Duck Hash, Broken Yolk Black Bean Tacos, Mediterranean Frittata, salads and much more. Everyone will be stuffed and happy after the meal. Then take a stroll around Cherry Creek to really soak in the afternoon. If you need to order the Bag O’ Donuts, which comes with three decadent dipping sauces, for the road, don’t feel a bit guilty at all.
