I agree, men and women definitely learn differently, and I could see the benefit of an all-women class. My issues aren't with that, as all the male instructors I had (not counting my husband's teachings) were awesome. My issues are fear-based, and I've made my peace with not skiing. :) Claudia, thanks for your information! The ride was terrifying, but the medic crew was so nice. Without insurance, we'd STILL be paying for the subsequent ambulance ride down the hill to the ER. ...and that was how my adventure in snowshoeing ended.
