Daily Deal-Winter Break at the DAM

Are you already wondering what you’re going to do with your kids during winter break?  Trying to find ways to get them out of the house?

You’re in luck!  The Denver Art Museum is hosting Winter Break at the Dam: Western Animals.  From December 19-January 3rd there will be free admission for kids 18 and under daily from 10am-4pm(noon-4pm Sundays).

Come track down all the creatures great and small that live in the museum. Find cows with their tongues out in The Masterworks of Charles M. Russell, try the Coastal Critters Backpack or our Fox Games Art Tube, make animal inspired artworks, and more!

Family Backpacks and Art Tubes will be available daily during Winter Break.

The Masterworks of Charles M. Russell is the first major retrospective of western master Charles M. Russell. He has been dubbed the original ‘cowboy artist’ painting bucking broncos, cowboys and saloon showdowns.

Enjoy this family event and take a break from the rush of the holiday season.  Let the kids be kids and explore for an afternoon!
