Colorado is among the first set of 10 states to receive some flexibility from the requirements of No Child Left Behind, White House officials confirmed to The Denver Post this morning.
Colorado applied for the waiver last year, saying in the application they can better handle holding schools accountable from a state level.

Snack with Santa at the Children’s Museum of Denver

The tree is decorated, the treats are delicious and the holiday cheer is all around, as the Children’s Museum of Denver prepares to host Santa Claus, flying straight from the North Pole!    Looking for something fun to do with your family this weekend? Well, you just found it,  Saturday from 10-1pm visit the Children’s Museum of Denver for a Snack with Santa.

Enjoy watching your children as they chat with Santa himself! It is that time of year when they need to be letting him know what they want under the tree. You can also snap that Santa photo just perfect for putting on your Holiday cards this year. To wrap up this fun filled day, you will receive a goody bag full of treats.

In addition to the above events, you can still enjoy all the fun that the Children’s Museum has to offer everyday!
