On Saturday  head to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge for an Autumn Hayride!  It’s a great time to enjoy the fall colors, wildlife, and the crisp fall air.  The hayrides are from 1:00-3:00pm Saturday, October 10.

Directions to the Refuge- Enter at 56th Ave. and Havana St.  Go 1.5 miles to the Visitor Center to check-in

Reservations are required, but the event is free.  Call 303-289-0930 to reserve your spot.

Be sure to bring some hot chocolate, warm blankets, and your camera!

Next Saturday they are having their Refuge Roundup 2009 to celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week and our Western Heritage.  It will take place October 17th from 9am-3pm.  Music, western crafts and games, roping and wrangling lessons, archery, and bison tours and hayrides will all be available.  Again, call ahead to be sure you can get in on the hayride!
