I have crazy dreams, too. It’s exhausting, isn’t it?! The recurring ones are the worst. I’m like, PLEASE SUBCONSCIOUS, help me solve this problem so someone can FINALLY pick me up from this airport!!

BTW, Emma has a top-front tooth which has been hanging on my almost a thread for two weeks, and I’m sure that’s why I dreamed that I was losing mine (because I’ve been daydreaming of pulling her tooth out once and for all so she’ll stop looking so Halloween-y). All my top teeth looked, in my dream, like hers does, except that they were coming out and hers won’t!!! And I dream in bright colors, too, and also have a husband who has to listen to the 20-min. descriptions of my dreams!!!

About once a year I buy crap cereal and give it to the kids in baggies as forbidden “candy” when they do chores. It’s so crazy that I’d rather give them m ‘n’ m’s and other candies than sugared cereal, I guess it’s just like I don’t want them to equate it with the other cereal we have in the house (even though there’s more nutrition in it than in candybars!). BUT….on the dream issue, last night I dreamed that one by one my top teeth started to fall out and I could barely hold them in my gums and Mike was next to me quizzically staring at me and saying, “but YOU’RE not supposed to be my patient” and I was telling him that he needed to do root canals on every single one of them because it was the only way to keep them in their gums. It was a surreal nightmare, one which I hope I never have again. Like, I was watching my body fall apart and I kept saying, “But this isn’t me!” and I was exasperated with an inability to answer why this was happening. Yikes!

Every once in a while I will have a very prophetic and spiritual dream. You’re not crazy-or maybe you are and I am too. I just bought Cocoa Pebbles this morning…eat up!

I remember my dreams for only minutes after I wake up… maybe a few hours tops. I used to have recurring dreams, but feel certain those are a thing of the past. At least I hope. I’m not a fan of dreaming… unless it’s of the day-dreaming variety where I look great in a bikini again! LOL!

I’m so curious about the dreaming side effect of vitamin B12 – I’ll have to look in to that one.

As for cereal, this is exactly why A) I never take my children to the grocery store and B) I never let my husband feed them breakfast. They inevitably dupe me into purchasing some sugary monstrosity that someone calls breakfast or my hubby decides that if he’s on duty every is getting (gasp) donuts!!

Oh boy are we dream twins! My favorite wacky dream of the not nightmare variety- was that to have a baby, you mail had to mailorder babies- like dolls- and then somehow you get them inside and they come out alive, but I couldn’t remember how that was accomplished the second time- turned out to be a little foreshadowing as we were unable to have another child for 10 years , Guess that showed my male tendancies to not asking directions- my husband rolls his eyes when I start in on describing my dreams- but they can be very entertaining-

I have freaky dreams too. They were especially interesting in college when I would go to sleep right after reading my psychology book. One time, I was on Mars running for my life in a maze where rats lived. My roommates use to look forward to hearing about my dreams.

I have crazy vivid dreams, and have since I was a kid. And I remember the kind of detail you’re talking about. TO the point that it takes me 20 minutes to explain the whole dream. Drives Mr. Adventure a little nuts, but mostly he’s dumbfounded that I remember so much detail, when he’s lucky to remember what his dreams were vaguely about.
Is this a girl thing?

You and I are a bit alike with the dream thing. Sometimes I have really spiritual things come to me in my dreams but most of the time I am….I don’t know…locked out of my house in my underwear…or being bitten by a swarm of goldfish and nearly dying. My husband has to hear ALL about it. I am sure he is overjoyed.

I wasn’t making fun of you…I know you got locked out of your room when you were hot tubbin’…my dream was totally different, though…
