I’m always happy to get to read a good book to review for Mile High Mamas, and it is even better when it’s homegrown. Author and Speaker Jean Blackmer lives in Boulder with her husband and three sons.

As a mom of two young boys, I read Boy-sterous Living: celebrating your loud and rowdy life with sons like a prediction of my future. Jean Blackmer knows what I have to look forward to: Noise. Risk-taking (and worry). Competitiveness. Fascination with all things that EXPLODE. And trips to the ER.
