		<description>This is a great post!  I grew up on a farm in the Midwest, and I can tell you from experience that cows can be FAR from placid.  Oh, the stories I could tell!

And, for what it&#039;s worth, we have a fox that leaps our fence in a single bound, and a coyote that does the same.  I&#039;d prefer they find a different route, but it is what it is.

And, I love Lori&#039;s comment about wildlife and wild life...so true!</description>

The cow incident reminded me of mom talking about showing livestock as a girl. The heifer stepped on my mom&#039;s foot in the show ring, and Mom had to keep a straight face and just keep going. Cows are HEAVY.</description>
