It’s the little things that matter
“Mom! At school I got to visit the Treasure Box!”
“Really, Reed? What did you get?”
“I got this ring. It’s a very special ring.”
“What so special about it, Honey?”
“Well, this ring has the power to deSTROY the WORLD!”
“Wow. That’s some ring. How does it do that?”
“It explodes the WHOLE PLANET!”
“Really. Why would you want to do that?”
“I don’t. I just like having the power.”
“I’m glad we’re safe, then. Reed, what is it exactly that saved the world from TOTAL DESTRUCTION?”
“Chicken nuggets. I love chicken nuggets too much to destroy them.”
If your child had a finger on the button, what would save the world from TOTAL DESTRUCTION?

My daughter would undoubtedly say dalmatians and husky dogs. She prays every night “that dalmations will be snuggly and husky dogs will be nice.” Yeah, she’s a bit obsessed with getting one of each.
Whew! Thank the lord for chicken nuggets.
Can’t comment on the child part but dang it.. THANK THE GOOD LORD FOR CHICKEN NUGGETS!!

Amber.. We have a husky and when Nantie moves in she’ll have her Dal (Oreo). We’ll have ya’ll and your little one can get her fill (and you can maintain a clean, fur free home!) ;o)

My 5 year old would say suckers.
My 2 year old would say chapstick/lipgloss
My 10 month old…well, he’s keeping that info to himself.
Oh, for me it would be chocolate.
My 4 yr old would say Thomas the Tank Engine.
My 3 yr old just told me her friend Anika.
My 1 yr old might tell me the banana he loves to smash in his hair, if he were talking. Right now we think “nana” might be his first word. He starts saying it as soon as he sees the tray for his high chair.
It’s good to know what to put in our “Break glass in case of TOTAL DESTRUCTION” kit, isn’t it, Ladies? Some dogs, a train, a friend, bananas, a sucker, chapstick, TBD, and chicken nuggets.
