Rocky Mountain Blogger Bash and Tykes on Trikes Parade!

Got election fever with the upcoming Democratic National Convention? At Mile High Mamas, we are spreading the word about two great events:

1) On August 16th, Every Child Matters in Colorado is sponsoring Tykes on Trikes (and other wheels too!) - a parade to celebrate kids and raise awareness about children’s issues this election season. Mayor John Hickenlooper and his wife Helen Thorpe are leading the parade, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Civic Center Park in Denver.

Following the parade, elected officials will welcome parade participants and several community organizations will provide free food, complimentary day passes to museums, live music, face painting, voter registration and other fun activities.

2) The Rocky Mountain Blogger Bash! Mile High Mamas will be holding our own blogging fete for mommy bloggers on September 12th (drop me an email for details). But if you want to get a taste of the big, bad blogging world, checkout this celebration on August 28th at Trios Enoteca that will include free drinks and Republican, Democratic, mom and political bloggers.
