It's kind of hit and miss on how I feel. Like today, he wasn't in church with us. He had to work and wouldn't have been anyway, but the impact of him not being there was more than usual. Hard to explain. Helped make it feel more real, and that made me sad. Sadder. But, this too shall pass :) Suzanne, I think the lead-up to his leaving, knowing the 18th was coming, was even harder. I have one year and two months before my baby girl turns 18. She will still be in high school, but I'll dread everyday more and more. I know she wants to go to college (still in state) however up in the mountains. Still two hours away. I think I'll start crying now.... I might be able to calm myself when that happens! Hopefully she will come home because she misses all the ruckus of 5 siblings.... maybe.
