Submitted by on May 24, 2008 – 12:00 amNo Comment

Weekends at Mile High Mamas are often dedicated to freebies and we have the ultimate giveaway: a free weekend at play for everyone!

Jungle Quest is opening a new 12,000-square-foot facility in Thornton and their Grand Opening Discovery Weekend (Saturday, May 31 – Sunday, June 1 from 9 am – 6 pm.) is free to the public!

Jungle Quest is an indoor adventure center, featuring ziplines, rock climbing and giant rope swings. Explorers, ages 2 to 12, are invited to join the Jungle Quest Safari Guides for zipline zooming, gravity fighting, carabineer clicking, safari swing riding and rock wall climbing. Toddlers (aged 2-5) may enjoy traipsing through the Mayan temple.

All explorers, who must wear closed, rubber-soled shoes, wear harnesses and go through a safety discussion to learn the Laws of the Jungle upon entrance.

Available for birthday parties, drop-in play, groups and special events, Jungle Quest features:

Ø Zooming Zip Lines: 80 feet long, suspended 17 feet in the air
Ø Safari Swing: Suspended from 35-foot ceilings, three different launch heights from seven, nine and eleven-foot platforms
Ø Traverse Swinging Bridges: 12-feet-long rope bridge suspended seven to nine feet in the air
Ø Rock Wall: 20-feet-high

Jungle Quest is a safe, fun and experiential challenge that teaches self confidence, responsibility, problem solving and teamwork. The jungle, which includes four private party rooms, a toddler area and an observation deck for parents, is open seven days a week, 10 am – 6 pm, at 9499 Washington St. (I-25 & E. Thornton Pkwy.).
