Plus they give us the energy to endure the next 50 tantrums with a smile on our faces. I once had a girls week in Mexico City when my daughter, now 10, was 1. It was so wonderful that it is still my happy place when everything hits the fan with my children. Girls nights out are such lovely reminders that we can indeed still clean up nicely, mingle with other adults and eat a meal without a small person attached to our being. Love the rundown. I'm not just a little jealous of a REAL girls night out! Most of mine are just a quick bite of dinner (yes, non-laminated menus!) and then back home in time for bath and bed. I was a dance major the first half of college, but those days are SO over. It's will be so much fun to get out and see some talented dancers. We just moved here from CA and I used to have a group of girls that I went out with every other week. We'd eat dinner out, go shopping, and just talk and laugh - it was so wonderful! I miss it so much. I need to meet some more people in CO so I can start a regular night here! oo- you’ve got me even more exicted to see Coppelia on Friday night!
