I had our second one mostly potty-trained by her older sister (age 5 at the time). The customizable portion is only audible and not really visible. Not sure how 'customized' that makes the greeting. The graphics aren't clear enough/busy enough to keep my 3 year old sitting in front of a 3 inch PC video of Santa - Santa's pretty small. My kid's beyond potty training but hasn't quite put together that Santa and gifts go hand and hand....not sure how old your kids are to be potty training and also understand Santa is the one that brings the gifts, but hey, if a gimmick helps get the little one out of daipers, then I'm definitely all for that!!
